I. Name of the Project: SK INTER-COLOR BASKETBALL SUMMER LEAGUE

II. Project Location: Barangay Elises, GMA, Cvaite

III. Type of Project: Sports Development

IV. Beneficiaries: Youth of Barangay Elises (15-30years old)

V. Duration / Target Date: April – June 2024

VI. Rationale

Summer is the time for sports. The Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Col. J. P.
Elises, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Cavite, spearheaded by Committee on Sports
Development would like to held an Inter-color Basketball Summer League 2024
for youths ages 15 to 30 years old. The theme is “Values Development through
Sports”. Almost every year the Sangguniang Kabataan is holding a basketball
league for youths.

VII. Objectives

This project aims to organize and execute a Summer League event focused
on basketball since it was the popular sports for different ages. This event
intends to gather citizen of Barangay Col J.P Elises particularly the youth sector
for a competitive play and community engagement as they learn the true
essence of sportsmanship and enhancing their skills in the field of Sports
Activities.

VIII. Budgetary Requirement:

Expenses to be incurred in this activity shall be charged against SK Funds of


the Barangay.

A. Expenses
Free Jersey/Uniform 260.00 x 192 players = ₱ 49,920.00
Basketball 2,500.00 x 2 pcs 5,000.00
Paint 1,500 x 3 colors 4,500.00
Basketball Mop 1,000.00 x 2 pcs 2,000.00
Sub-Total ₱ 61,420.00
B. Prizes (Cash and Trophies)
2 Champion (Midget, Junior) 5,000.00 10,000.00
2 1st Placer (Midget, Junior) 3,000.00 6,000.00
2 sets of Trophies (3pcs) 3,000.00 6,000.00
Sub-Total ₱ 22,000.00
C. Referee and other Personnel
2 Referee 1,500.00/games x 40 games ₱ 60,000.00

IX. Guidelines and Procedures


a. There will be 2 Divisions for Midget Division (Ages 15-22) and Junior
Division (Ages 23-30)
b. Each team must consist of 11 players, 1 muse (Gay) and 1 coach.
c. Free Jersey (Upper), Free Quota and Entry Fee.
d. Each team should provide their jersey shorts.
e. Tournament will be on Round Robbing-Bracketing format for First Round,
Quarter Finals format is Crossover, Semis Finals format will be Draw
Lots, and the Finals is Single Elimination.
f. Exclusive for residence of Barangay Elises only.
g. If player makes a necessary action and violence inside the court, the said
player will be punished to not play the entire league.
