CONTENT
The course focuses on the MACS3 modules for Container Vessels Belco, Dangerous Goods and Sealash and provides
numerous exercise examples and tutorials which can be best understood using the enclosed MACS3 demo version.

Familiarization with what MACS3 looks like on board
Communication with planners and terminals
Conducting comprehensive condition checks
Creating discharge and loading plans, reefer and DG lists for deck watch
Designing final departure condition and condition reports
Creating restow plans
Ballast water operations: preplanning and creation of tank overviews
Adjusting the user interface according to the user’s needs
CERTIFICATE
In addition, the course provides the MACS3 competence evaluation. The aim of
MACS3
the evaluation is to give feedb ack on user competency in applying the MACS3
Basic Loading Computer. The evaluation time is 60 minutes with 25 questions to
be answered.
After successful completion the personal certificate “MACS3 ready” will be issued
ready
and provided for download.
