Article II: Every teacher shall be physically, mentally and morally fit.

Every teacher shall


possess and actualize a full commitment and devotion to duty. Teacher shall not use his position
or official authority or influence to coerce any person to follow any political course of action.
Article III: Teacher is a facilitator of learning and development of youth. They shall provide an
environment conducive for learning and growth.
Article IV: Teacher shall maintain the nobility and dignity of the teaching profession. They shall
continue professional growth to improve efficiency.
Article V: A teacher may apply for vacant position for which he is qualified; provided that he
respects the system of selection on the basis of merit and competence; provided, further, that all
qualified candidates are given the opportunity to considered.
Article VI: Every teacher shall make an honest effort to understand and support the legitimate
policies of the school and the administration regardless of personal feeling. A teacher shall
transact all official business through channels except when special conditions warrant a different
procedure.
Article VII: All school officials, teachers and personnel shall show professional courtesy,
helpfulness and sympathy to one another and exhibit cooperative responsibility to formulate
changes for the systems at all levels.
Article VIII: Discuss the rights and duties of a teacher to the learners. The first and foremost
concern of a teacher is the recognition of the interest and welfare of the students. Deal with
students impartially and justly.
Article IX: Teacher shall establish and maintain cordial relations with parents. Inform term of the
progress of their children. Hear parent’s complaints with sympathy and understanding.
Article X: Legitimizes income-generating activities of the teachers that these do not adversely
affect their work as teacher. Maintain good reputation with respect to financial matters.
Article XI: Teacher shall maintain a dignified personality whether in school, in the home, or
elsewhere which could serve as a model, worthy of emulation by learners, peers and others.

Knowledge
Never Stop Learning An educator’s code of conduct demands attentiveness to continuing
education requirements and career development. Teachers must spend time researching new
teaching methods, attend classes to maintain their certifications, consult colleagues for
professional advice, stay informed on technical advancements for the classroom, and participates
in curriculum improvements.
Skills
Showing Commitment on the Job Educators must commit wholly to the teaching profession
itself. A classroom should promote safety, security, and acceptance, and should always avoid
bullying, hostility, neglect, dishonesty or offensive conduct. Teacher must accurately describe
their qualifications, skills and credentials to education boards or administration offices that look
to hire them.
Attitude
Promote and Uphold Healthy Relationships On top of fostering healthy relationships with
students, educators must build strong relationships with school staff, parents, guidance
counsellors, co-workers, and administrators. Teachers must keep from discussing private
information about colleagues and students unless disclosure is required under the law.

4. For the teachers to be able to teach effectively, she or he needs improvement in every
aspect, whether the strategies of teaching, assessment practices, clinical and supervision
skills, technological skills or even professionalism.
5. Promoting the code of ethics to fellow teachers involves demonstrating the appropriate
actions in educational situations and emphasizing that it is not a dismissible document but
a crucial aspect that reflects a teacher's duties and responsibilities.
