Topic 1: An exciting adventure.

I travelled with a friend to a secret island. We had booked tickets and went there immediately that day. I
packed some clothes which I liked best. Then, we met at the bus station and took a trip to that
destination. We had interesting days on the cruise. On the first day, we enjoyed a small party with other
people on the deck. We tried eating European foods and I felt they were very scrumptious. After eating,
we had a sunbath and watched the stunning scenery. In the distance, there were some clouds drifting in
the clear sky. The sea was calm. It was quite tranquil. A few days later, we were all impressed by
everything that we hadn’t seen in our area. It made us escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
Therefore, I cherish those moments. I met a lot of people who gave me happiness. I joined lots of talks
which made me find myself at peace. I always remembered the fantastic days of my life.

Topic 2: A broken window.

A terrible problem had just happened to me. While my mother was cooking, my brother and I were
playing football with each other. Our mother told us that we ought to play it outside because there were
many fragile things. I thought we could play carefully, so we didn’t come out. A few minutes later, my
brother threw the ball accidentally into the window and it was broken. We were nervous because we
didn’t listen to my mom’s words. After that, I stepped forward and apologized to my mother for doing
this. We thought my mother would punish us, but she forgave us. We cleaned the house to make up for
the mistake and promised my mom that we wouldn’t make a mistake again.

Topic 3: A surprise.
As I came out of the supermarket, I saw someone that I had wanted to see for a long time. I had always
dreamt about meeting celebrities. And my dream came true today. I was brave enough to step forward and
ask her to take photos. When I got her permission, I used my phone to take a photo of us and keep it as
memory. Then she told me that she had been up to her ears with hectic schedule and she would leave
immediately. I apologized to her for annoying, but she said it didn’t matter. After she had left, I returned
home with happiness. I printed out the photo and hung it on the wall. It was a fantastic day.
Topic 4: The first time in the jungle
It was my first time in the jungle and I was so excited. My friend and I had intended to go on an excursion
to an island so that we could escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. But my mom told me that we
should take a trip to the jungle in order to explore wildlife, so we decided to go to that place because my
next project was about animals and we needed to know more about them. I was eager because I had never
gone there before. After that, I was impressed by the stunning scenery. I thought I always wanted to have
more chance to go to this place. We spent two days living with animals and found them interesting. I
would never forget the wonderful days.

Topic 5: A fantastic party:

I arrived at my best friend’s house at 6pm. It was quite early, so I walked around the garden. I met a
foreign girl who came as early as me. She told me that she came from England and met my friend by
chance. I was surprised about that and sat next to her to chat with each other. She talked about life in
England where there are lots of modern skycrapers. She also talked about the types of people she had met,
how she had felt about them. I thought she was an interesting person, but she said sometimes people felt
like they didn’t understand her. After that, we went to the kitchen to help my friend prepare some food.
Then, we danced and sang a lot. We had a great time together although it was a short one. After the party,
that girl asked me about my information to contact. Since then, I have had more nice friends like her.
