Character guide

Stormlight Premium Miniatures represent the


first step in a larger partnership between
Dragonsteel Entertainment and Brotherwise
Games. In the past, Cosmere® book and game
illustrations have been commissioned on an
individual basis, with input from Brandon
Sanderson but details left to each artist’s
interpretation. As the Cosmere expands into
ambitious new projects like the Stormlight®
Roleplaying Game, Brandon has recognized the
need for official designs based on canonical
sources. Dragonsteel VP of Creative
Development Isaac Stewart worked closely with
Brotherwise Games to develop these miniature
designs, under Brandon’s close supervision to
ensure the accuracy of every character model.

These designs now serve as guides for artists


working on the leatherbound novels and RPG
illustrations. They’re also great reference for
miniature painters! Each design is presented here
as the original high-resolution 3D model created
for our Stormlight visual development project.
We hope you enjoy this look behind the scenes!
