Dependencies
1) This software runs on the DCSS IV, version GAA24350AW11 or higher.
2) LMCSS software GBA30085FAA01 or higher runs on MCBII version
JBA26801AAF002 or higher.
3) This software is able to control the additional Interface Box (GAA24350AB1), which is
necessary if the DO2000 is controlled by a Relay Controller.
4) The current SW version is prepared for MCS411 application, but is still not released
until propriate field installations can verify that the seral link is stable. Tests in the la-
boratory shows that the MCSS did not recover the transmission if serial link is broken.
Open Items
During the detailed tests of the software some improvements could be found, which will be
implemented with the next upgrade of the software. To have a common and identical
SVTOOL user display for all 4 DCSS systems it is planned to release a new SW-version
until July 97.
The open items are described in detail in the Software Qualification Testreport, which is
available on request. The main items are listed below.
1) Find a common, identical SVTOOL user interface for all 4 DCSS.
2) Nice to have: Improve Error/Event logging display during the scrolling to the next
logged event
3) Nice to have: start the Continuous-Run much quicker.
4) Reset profile mode, which was entered by SVTOOL during Inspection run, if switched
back to Normal run.

Qualification and Verification Procedure
The qualification and verification is done on the engineering DO2000 software version
G01_30320_AAA (Internal Engineering Release).
The software was tested in Berlin on an original DO2000 door rig.
One installation with a previous software version is installed in the Gien Testtower with a
MCS-321 controller.
Two pilot order installations with public traffic are equipped with the GO1_30320_AAA soft-
ware version and running without trouble.
All tests were repeated very carefully by an independent test team to verify the results,
which are described in detail in a Software Qualification Report, which is available on re-
quest.
No serious error or mal function has been found.
