For accurate and professional look, the finished piece should be blocked. Wash it by hand,
gently press out the liquid, being careful not to pull or twist on the stitches. Lay it on flat
blocking mat and pin the doily working from the center out to the edges. Pay special
attention to the central flower when you block the doily. Remove the pins when the doily is
completely dry.

Stitch guide
ST - stitch. SC - single crochet.
ch - chain. DC - double crochet.
SLST - slip stitch. TR - treble (2 yo).
CSDC - Chainless starting double crochet is a seamless beginning stitch, but you may choose to CH 3
instead. Counts as first DC of a round.
FP-... - Complete stitch around the front post of stitch indicated.
BP-... - Complete stitch around the back post of stitch indicated.
CLUSTER - a set of stitches joined together at the top. Holding back the last loop of all stitches in
cluster set, complete the number of stitches into the stitch or space indicated, yarn over, and pull
through all loops on hook.
DECREASE - two indicated stitches together. Holding back the last loop of both stitches, make first
stitch into the stitch indicated (2 loops on hook), make second stitch into the stitch indicated (3
loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through all three loops on hook .
PICOT - CH2, SLST in last ST made.
FP-PS (front post puff stitch) - yo, (pull up a loop around SC indicated) 3 times (there should be 7
loops on hook), yo and pull through 6 loops on hook, yo and pull through last 2 loops on hook.
