Referring to the chapter “The Third Level by Jack Finney”,
complete any two of the following activities:
Character Interviews: You can conduct mock interviews with the
characters from the story. They can prepare questions based on the
personality traits and experiences of each character and then role-
play the interviews in front of the class.
Time Travel Role-Play: Make groups and assign each group a
different time period mentioned in the story (e.g., 1890s, 1940s).
You can research the historical context (use library, museums etc.)
and then prepare a report on time travel. Present/act out scenes from
that time period.
Theatrical Adaptation: Adapt a scene or scenes from the story
into a short theatrical performance. You can write scripts, create
costumes and props, and perform the scenes in front of the class or
even record a video performance.
Alternate Reality Debate: Organize a debate where you can argue
for or against the existence of the third level and the possibility of

arguments based on evidence from the text and your own
interpretations.
Historical Context Gallery Walk: Create a gallery walk activity
where you research and present information about the historical
context of the story. Each student or group can prepare visual
displays with images, artefacts, and written explanations, and then
walk around the classroom to learn from each other.
Letter Exchange Role-Play: Instead of written letters engage in a
role-play activity where you can act out the letter exchange between
characters from the story. You can improvise dialogue and
interactions based on your understanding of the characters and their
motivations.
Reflection Circle: Form a circle with and facilitate a discussion
where they share your reflections on the themes and messages of
the story. Encourage active listening and respectful dialogue,
allowing yourself to express thoughts and respond to each other's
ideas.

होते हुए भी बुजुर्गों को अच्छे नहीं लगते हैं किसी बुजुर्ग से हास्य
व्यंग्य शैली में संवाद करते हुए एक रील बनाइए। या रेडियो पर
प्रस्तुत करने के अंदाज में स्क्रिप्ट लिखिए। और संवादों को

pollution (such as garbage, heavy metals, pesticides, or oil spills) on
the biodiversity and health of aquatic ecosystems. (survey can be
done on different water bodies like different lakes)

change is affecting wildlife populations, habitats, and migration
patterns, and propose conservation strategies to mitigate these
effects. Prepare a chart and report based on your research. (Research
should be done of at least 5 wild life habitats from different parts of
world like Amazon Forest, thar desert etc.)
5. To determine the speed of growth of bean seeds in different growth
solutions. The bean seed should be soaked in several cups that
emulsion, distilled water, hydrogen peroxide, malt, humic acid, and
potassium nitrate. Study the Effect of Sugar on Bean Plant
Growth.Keep track of the germination outcomes for four days...

1.To collect water sample of three area (tap water , upper lake , ground
water etc ) and investigate purification techniques of water and make
report on various purification techniques (filtrations, chlorination etc.).
Make a report of each sample after performing purification. Also observe
change in the properties of water when remain untouched for 10 days
(smell, color changes etc.

2.Analysis 4 natural and 4 artificial preservative and present the data on
5 amount of preservative used in food market. .Take example of pickle and
observe the effect of different preservative (salt, vinegar, oil) on pickle and
observe the changes in their forms(fermentation etc.).

3.Environmental impact of plastics: Generate a report on bio-degradable
and non-biodegradable plastics and their effects on ecosystem and human
health. Prove through an experiment that plastic is non-biodegradable. (E.g.
take 3 pots add mud and used 3 different material and continuously observe
the change of of that material, which material got degrade and which
remains the same. You can use plastic, paper etc. for experiment.

1. Select your ‘subject’ who is suffering from any mental disorder listed
above.
2. Collect the demographic data of your subject and by using observation
assessment method, observe the overt and covert behaviour of your subject
on weekly basis.
3.Use interview assessment method (formal/informal interview) with the
subject and with his/her close relatives to understand the subjects
symptoms properly on weekly basis.
4. You can use scientific psychological test which you have studied in our
school on the subject for proper assessment.
After collecting the data, prepare a case profile under following topics.
Aim, Introduction of mental disorder, Psychological assessment Methods
used for preparing case profle., Introduction of Case/Subject, observed
Symptoms, Assessment, Intervention, and Conclusion.
