MATHEMATICS

1. Prepare a creative PowerPoint presentation on the following topics


Roll no. 1 to 7- Maths and architecture
Roll no. 7 to 14- Maths in the kitchen
Roll no. 15 to 22- Amazing Symmetry
Roll no. 23 to 29- Maths in Entertainment
Roll no. 30 onwards- Maths in Disaster Management

2. You have been provided with an amount of 1 lakh. Prepare a vacation plan for 4
days and 3 nights for 4 people. Keep in mind every single detail and also prepare the
map of the place visited.

3. Conduct a survey of your friends to find which kind of movie they like the most.
Represent the information in the form of a bar graph.
4. Make a summarized table showing total points obtained for all the nutrients on daily
basis for 10 days in the RECORD BOOK as shown below:

1 Point for: The presence of nutrients in the diet for that date.

1. Prepare any one project from the following categories:


 Hydroponic Herb Garden: Create a small-scale hydroponic system to grow herbs
indoors without soil, demonstrating how plants can thrive with just water and
nutrients.
 Optical Instrument: Construct a simple microscope or telescope using lenses to
explore the world around us.
 Human Body Systems: Create a model to explain the structure and functions of
organs and systems in the human body such as the respiratory system, circulatory
system or digestive system.
 Renewable Energy Sources: Create a model to showcase different renewable energy
sources like solar power, wind turbines and hydroelectric dams.
 Electricity and Magnetism: Create circuits to understand concepts like series and
parallel circuits, use of magnet or experiment with electromagnetism.

SOCIAL SCIENCE

A. 'Models' are familiar objects to represent unfamiliar things. Models can help you
visualise, or picture in your mind. Similarly, Social Science models help you
communicate your ideas, evaluate theory, build theory and enhances conjectures.

On the basis of above information prepare any 1 model (working or non-
working) on any of the topic given below.
- Rainwater Harvesting
- Natural Disasters
- Methods of Irrigation
- Global Warming and Greenhouse effect
- Dams
- Solar Energy & Use of Solar Panels
(ii) For Roll no 16 to 26
'Projects' are important for developing analytical skills, problem solving
abilities and to develop team work and creative thinking.
Prepare a Project File or PPT on any 1 of the following topics given below.

- Social issues
- National Movements
- Sustainable Development
- Resources and its types
NOTE: The project or PPT must contain 15 pages, including the following pages
mentioned below.
