Q TYRES is essentially a value adding black owned rim manufacture and repairer, tyre
retailer and related service provider company specializing in the mining and industrial
market of Southern Africa.

Q TYRES are a true multi branded independent company. This allows Q TYRES the ability
to offer products free of favoritism and influence by manufactures stimulus. Q TYRES offer
brands and products on market performance facts and end user preferences.

Q TYRES unique core values is formulated by our experience management team’s market
intelligence to ensure each and every end-user needs are exceeded in an achievable and
effective manner.

Q TYRES has a nonnegotiable ZERO HARM to Health, Safety and Environmental policy,
our HSE model are Audited by an Independent Company. A specialized health and safety
company has been appointed to guide QTyres to the highest possible level of health and
safety compliance.

Q TYRES is of the view that any documentation, ideas and information pertaining to
Health, Safety and the Environment is Non-Confidential and should be distributed and
communicated between parties. Q TYRES therefore welcomes a communication session
with your Safety department to present our Safety File for possible improvements and
ideas to ultimately reduce risk to maintain ZERO HARM.

All Q TYRES employees sign an integrity pack where each and every employ commit
themselves to act Honestly and Ethically at all times. Q TYRES support and comply to the
South African Government’s basic employment acts.

We have standardized processes in order to ensure the quality of the products meets the
highest standards. Our rim manufacturing department is the process of being ISO
9001:2015 certified.

Quality management is a critical part of our business and is maintained and controlled by
the owners in liaison with the client.

Introduction

Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management is an integral and essential part of
the way we do our business and is considered an equal part of the wider system for the
management of our business.

Through effective management, Q TYRES aims to be the preferred contractor and the
favoured employer. The requirements set out in this document constitute the expectations
for divisional compliance with Q TYRES policy.

The purpose of this document is to describe:

 The structure for the management of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)
within the Q TYRES divisions.
 The expectations for each element of the HSE Management System.

It is the responsibility of each division to determine how these expectations and

requirements are to be achieved.

Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

Our goal is to protect our people, the public, our property and the environment in which
they work and live. It is a commitment that is in the best interests of our customers, our
employees and all other stakeholders.

It is possible to run all operations without injuries or damage to equipment or the

environment:

 We will comply with all applicable laws and relevant industry standards of practice.
 We will continuously evaluate the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspects
of our equipment and services.
 We believe that effective HSE management is good business and we are
committed to the continuous improvement of HSE management practices.
 From top management through to entry level, everyone is responsible and
accountable for HSE.

We are committed to the integration of HSE objectives into our management systems at all
levels. This will enhance our business success by reducing risk and adding value to our

Our Vision

Q TYRES expects its personnel to achieve year-over-year improvement in safety

Q TYRES is aiming for a destination called “ZERO HARM” – zero safety incidents, zero
injuries and zero days off work due to injury; in other words, a perfect HSE record. ZERO
HARM means accepting that every incident is preventable
Our ZERO HARM vision is a “decision to change” – change behaviour and the way things
are done to ensure safety is always at the forefront for every employee. As a global oilfield
services company, we expect our workers to make safety on-the-job and off-the-job an
everyday priority by emphasizing five safety principles:

At Q TYRES, we expect people to come to the job site and for just one shift, not have any
injures. Then we achieve it on the next shift, and the next. Day after day. We know it can
be done because many of our work sites achieve it every day, year after year.

The ZERO HARM vision does not mean that another injury will never occur. Rather, it
means a commitment to working as many hours as possible without an injury. And it
requires an attitude – an attitude that says any injury or incident, even a small one,
shouldn’t be taken lightly. Any incident is unacceptable. That’s the attitude that is key to
ZERO HARM.

HSE Management System

The Q TYRES HSE Management System defines the elements by which we will conduct
our operations in order to protect our people, the public, our property and the environment
in which they work and live.

The HSE Management System model is comprised of seven interrelated elements with

HSE INDEPENDENT AUDIT
 BROAD-BASED BLACK ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) aims to ensure that the economy is
structured and transformed to enable the meaningful participation of the majority of its
citizens and to further create capacity within the broader economic landscape at all levels
through skills development, employment equity, socio economic development, preferential
procurement, enterprise development, especially small and medium enterprises, promoting
the entry of black entrepreneurs into the mainstream of economic activity, and the
advancement of co-operatives.

All products supplied by Q TYRES carry a manufacturer’s warranty against any defective
materials and/or faulty workmanship. In the event of such claims we will facilitate
negotiations on your behalf with the respective manufacturers to ensure mandatory
reimbursement.

No Product will be supplied by Q TYRES without a full manufactures warrantee.

Rims and Rim Components

Q TYRES is at the forefront of the technology involved in rim and components repairing. Q
TYRES has the ability to change and improve any rim or component as the repairing and
assembly facility is on our premises, due to this fact our turnaround time is 25% lower than
the industry standard.

Introduction of Q TYRES RIM MANUFACTURE, REPAIR AND SERVICE FACILITY

Q TYRES specialises in the repair, refurbishment and modification of industrial rims,

ranging in size from 20" up to 57"

Other services include the supply of new and refurbished rims, re-dishing and the
replacement of sections. We also supply loose components.

In our well-equipped Workshop, skilled staff are dedicated to service excellence, striving
for a turnaround time of 10 working days. Some of our Workshop equipment includes

New Tyres

As an independent company, Q TYRES can supply a wide range of products from various
manufacturers. Our Market Intelligence allows us to offer products and solutions uniquely
to your specific operation.

We have mutually beneficial relationships and agreements with all the major tyre Brands
and companies in South Africa which allows us to offer products at competitive levels.

Q TYRES stores large supplies of practically all sizes of earthmover tyres, meaning it is
likely to have the specific size and model of tyre to suit each customer’s need

Q TYRES supply all the major tyre market segments:

 Agricultural Tyres

However, Q TYRES specialises in the Specialised Tyre market and sells tyres for a broad
range of mining vehicle applications, including loaders, wheel loaders, scrapers, graders,
mining dump trucks, articulated dump trucks tyres and all underground mining tyres

All tyres supplied by Q TYRES curries a full manufactures warranty. Q TYRES will
facilitate any claim against the tyre manufacturer on your behalf.

Various Other Brands Available

Solid Polyurethane Tyres

The solid polyurethane wheel consists of a steel rim (manufactured in our factory) to which
a solid polyurethane tyre is bonded. Tyson has developed a high-quality bonding
technique for adhering the tyre to steel - this is crucial for providing wheels that can be
relied on to perform well for years in severe working conditions.

The tyre is manufactured using a unique formula developed by Tyson over many years of
testing. These tyres:

 Do not chunk or separate under extreme applications;

 Increased carry capacity
 Are resilient to high temperature buildup;
 Provide an acceptable level of shock-absorption;
 Provide very high cut and abrasion resistance and durability

We can manufacture and customize wheel designs to suit the need and application of the
clients.
