A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REALIGNMENT OF FUNDS FROM THE
SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN BUDGET FY 2023 FOR UTILIZATION ON THE
UPCOMING BARANGAY AND SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 11935 provides for the postponement of the
December 2022 Barangay and SK Elections and subsequently reschedules it to
October 2023;
WHEREAS, for more than five years of no Barangay and SK Elections, this
representation has not allocated a certain amount which would be utilized by the
local COMELEC for the conduct of the upcoming BSKE;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, and on motion by
Hon. Lyndon A. Baliao duly seconded by Hon. Jayzon J. Pepania, it was
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, TO AUTHORIZE THE
REALIGNMENT OF FUNDS FROM THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN BUDGET
FY 2023 FOR UTILIZATION ON THE UPCOMING BARANGAY AND
SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS to wit
Section 1. REALIGNMENT OF FUNDS
Funds are hereby realigned as follows:

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this RESOLUTION to the Office
of the Local Government Operations Officer, and all other concerned offices for
kind information and reference.
