Allhumma Akhrijni min zulumatil wahmi ,wa akrimni be nuril fahmi .

O GOD, please bring me out of the darkness of doubt and favour me with the light of comprehension,
َ ْﻨَﺎ َﺧ َﺰآ ِﺋ َﻦ @ُﻠ ُ ْﻮ ِﻣDَﻚ َو اﻧ ْ ُﺸ ْﺮ @َﻠ
ﻚ َ ِ ﲪﺘ َ ْﻨَﺎ اَﺑْ َﻮDَاَﻟﻠ > ُﻬ َّﻢ اﻓْﺘ َ ْﺢ @َﻠ
َ ْ اب َر
Allahumma afta alayna abwaba rahmateka, wa anshur alyna khazaena uloomeka
O GOD open to us the doors of your mercy and unfold for us the treasure of your knowledge by your mercy

َ ْ ﺑِ َﺮ
َ ْ ﻚ ﻳَﺎ ا َْر َﺣ َﻢ اﻟ َّﺮاﲪ

Dua Before Studying 1

َ ِﲏ َو @َﻠِّ ْﻤ ِﲏ َﻣﺎ ﻳَﻨْ َﻔ ُﻌ ِﲏPﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َّﻢ اﻧ ْ َﻔﻌْ ِﲏ ِﲟَﺎ @َﻠ َّ ْﻤـ
“Allahumma infa'nii bimaa 'allamtanii wa'allimnii maa yanfa'uunii.
Oh Allah! Make useful for me what you have taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me.
.ﲔ ِ ﺑﺮَ َ ﻘ ﳌ
ْ ا ﲔ ِﻚ ﻓَﻬْﻢ اﻟﻨَّﺒِﻴِﲔ و ِﺣ ْﻔ َﻆ ا ْﳌُ ْﺮﺳﻠ
َ ُ ﻟَ اﻟﻠَّﻬ َﻢ إ ِِّﱐ أَﺳﺄ
َ ّ ُ َ َ َ َ ّ َ ْ ّ ُ
Allahumma inii as'aluka fahmal-nabiyyen wa hifzal mursaleen al-muqarrabeen.
Oh Allah! I ask you for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers, and those nearest to you.
َ اﺟﻌَ ْﻞ ﻟ ِ َﺴ ِﺎﱐ @َﺎ ِﻣ ًﺮا ﺑِ ِﺬ ْﻛ ِﺮ
َﺘِﻚDك َو ﻗَﻠْﺒِﻲ ِﲞَ ْﺸ ْ اﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َّﻢ.
.Allahumma ijal leesanee 'aiman bi dhikrika wa qalbi bi khashyatika.
Oh Allah! Make my tongue full of your remembrance and my heart with awe of you.
ُ َو ﻧِﻌْ َﻢ اﻟ ْ َﻮ ِﻛfا
َ.ﻴﻞ َ ْ َ َﻣﺎ ﺗَ َﺸ ُﺎء ﻗَ ِﺪﻳ ٌﺮ َو أَﻧmَ@ ﻚ
َُ ّ ُﻨَﺎgﺖ َﺣ ْﺴـ َ َّ إِﻧ
Innaka 'ala ma-tasha'u qadeer wa anta hasbun-allahu wa na'mal wakeel.'
Oh Allah! You do whatever you wish, and you are my availer and protector and best of aid.
Dua before study 2

ِ ﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َﻢ ا َ ْﻛ ِﺮﻣ ْﲏ ﺑِﻨُﻮ ِر اﻟ ْ َﻔﻬْ ِﻢ و َﺧ َّﺮ َﺟ ِﲏ ِﻣ ْﻦ ُﻇﻠُﻤ
َﺎت اﻟ ْ َﻮ ْﻫ ِﻢ َ ْ َ ْ ْ ْ ّ
Allaahumma akrimnee binooril fahmi wa kharrajanee min z'ulumaatil wahmi
O Allah, honor me by the light of understanding and take me out from the darknesses of doubt
َ اب @ِﻠ ْ َﻤ
ﻚ َ ْﻨَﺎ اَﺑْ َﻮDَو اﻓْﺘ َ ْﺢ @َﻠ،
َ
waftah' a'lainaa abwaaba i'lmak.
and open upon us the doors of Your knowledge
ِ ِ ﻚ ﻳَﺎ ا َر َﺣﻢ اﻟ َّﺮِ
ﲔ
َْ اﲪ َ ْ َ َان َﻣﻌْ ِﺮﻓَﺘ
َ ْﻨَﺎ ُﺧ ّﺰDَو اﻧ ْ ُﺸ ْﺮ @َﻠ،
َ
Wan shur a'lainaa khuzzaanu ma'rifatika yaa arh'amar raah'imeen.
and open upon us the treasure of Your recognition, O the best of the Merciful ones.

َ ْ ِﻼ َ ِت ا ْﳌ َ َﺴ ِﺂﺋ ِﻞ ﻣ َﻦ اﻟ ْ ُﻜﺘُ ِﺐ ﺑِ َﺮtاَﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َّﻢ َو ّﻓِ ْﻘ ِﲏْ ِﰱ ْ ا ْﳌُ َﻄﺎﻟَﻌَ ِﺔ ِﲝَ ّ ِﻞ َﲨﻴ ْ ِﻊ ُﻣ ْﺸ.
َ ِ ﲪﺘ
َ ْ ﻚ ﻳَﺎ ا َْر َﺣ َﻢ اﻟ َّﺮاﲪ
ﲔ
Allaahumma wa!qnee fil mut'aala'ti bih'ablee jamee-i' mushkilaatil masaa-ili minal kutubi birah'matika yaa arh'amar raah'imeen
.O Allah, and give me Tawfeeq to the study and solving all the difficult problems through books. By Your mercy, O the best of the merciful

ﻚ ِﻣ َﻦ اﻟﻌَ ْﺠ ِﺰ َو اﻟ ْ َﻜ َﺴ ِﻞ ُ ﻚ ِﻣ َﻦ ا ْﳍ َ ِّﻢ َو ا ْﳊ َ َﺰ ِن َو أ َ ُﻋ
َ ِﻮذ ﺑ ُ ﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َّﻢ إ ِِّﱐ أ َ ُﻋ
َ ِﻮذ ﺑ
Allhumma inni adhu bika min al-hammi wa al-hazan. Wa adhu bika min al-ajzi wa al-kasal.
Oh Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief,from helplessness and laziness,
َﻠَﺒ َ ِﺔ اﻟ َّﺪﻳ ْ ِﻦ و ﻗَﻬْ ِﺮ اﻟﺮﺟﺎلÅ ﻚ ِﻣ ْﻦ
َ ِﻮذ ﺑ ِ ْ ُ ﻚ ِﻣ َﻦ ا ْﳉ
ُ ﱭ َو اﻟْﺒ ُ ْﺨ ِﻞ َو أ َ ُﻋ ُ َو أ َ ُﻋ
َ ِﻮذ ﺑ
Wa adhu bika min al-jubni wa al-bukhl. Wa adhu bika min ghalabat id-dayni wa qahr ir-rijal.

This is a short dua found in Mafateehul Jinaan useful for acquiring better understanding and more insight into the ocean of light of
knowledge, It can be recited regularly in Qunoot of Namaaz. This is specially beneficial for students for achieving maximum output from
their efforts in studies.

ُ ّ ِﻞ ﺷ َْﻲ ٍء ﻗَ ِﺪﻳْﺮá mٰ َ @ ﻚ ْ اَﻟﻠ > ُﻬ َّﻢ
O Allah let my heart be filled with light & insight & understanding & knowledge ,verily You control everything.
Dua After Studying

َ ُ@اﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َّﻢ إ ِِّﱐ أ َ ْﺳﺘ َ ْﻮ ِد،
ُ َﻚ َﻣﺎ ﻗ
ﺮأت َو َﻣﺎ َﺣ َﻔ ْﻈ ُﺖ
“Allahumma inni astaodeeka ma qara’tu wama hafaz-tu.
Oh Allah! I entrust you with what I have read and I have studied.
ﺎﺟ ِﱵ إِﻟَﻴ ِﻪ ِ
َ ﻓَ ُﺮ ُﺿ ُﻪ @َﻠ ّﻲ ﻋﻨْ َﺪ َﺣ،
Farudduhu ‘allaya inda hajati elahi.
Oh Allah! Bring it back to me when I am in need of it.
ﺖ َﺣ ْﺴﺒِﻲ َوﻧِﻌْ َﻢ اﻟ َﻮ ِﻛﻴﻞ
َ ْ َﻣﺎ ﺗَ َﺸ ُﺎء ﻗَ ِﺪﻳ ُﺮ َوأَﻧmَ@ ﻚ
َ ّ إِﻧ
Innaka ‘ala ma-tasha’-u qadeer wa anta hasbeeya wa na’mal wakeel”
Oh Allah! You do whatever you wish, you are my availer and protector and the best of aid
Dua While Studying Something Difficult

ً ﺌﺖ َﺳﻬْﻼ َ ّ اﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َّﻢ ﻻ َ َﺳﻬْﻼ ًإ ِّﻻ َ َﻣﺎ َﺟﻌَﻠّﺘ َ ٌﻪ َﺳﻬْﻼ ً َوأَﻧ
َ ﺖ َ ّﲡﻌَ َﻞ اﳊ َ َﺰ َن إِذَا ِﺷ
Allhumma l sahla ill m jaaltahu sahl wa anta tajalu al-hazana idh shita sahl.
Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what You have made easy. If You wish, You can make the difficult easy.

ِ ْ َ ﻚ ﻳَﺎ ُﻣ َﺬ ِﻛ َﺮ اﳋ
َ ُ اﻟﻠ َّ ُﻬ َّﻢ إ ِِّﱐ أ َ ْﺳﺄﻟ.آل ُﳏ َ ّﻤﺪ
ِ ُﳏ َ ّﻤ ٍﺪ َوmَ@ اﷲ ﺻ
ُ mَ ّ َ
salla-l-laahu alaa muhammad wa aal-e muhammad. allahumma inni asaluka yaa mudhakkira-l khayr wa faailahu wa-l-aamira bihi dhakir-
ni maa ansaani-hi-shaytan.
Blessings of God be upon Muhammad and his progeny. O God, I ask you, the one who mentions goodness and actualizes it and commands it,
remind me of that which the shaytan makes me forget.

ِ َ ﺎت ﻳَﺎ داﻓِ َﻊ اﻟْﺒﻠِﻴ
ﺎت ِ ﺎت ﻳَﺎ ﺳﺎ ِﻣ َﻊ اﻷ َ ْﺻﻮ
ِ َ ات ﻳَﺎ @َﺎﻟِﻢ اﳋْ َ ِﻔﻴ ِ َﻗَﺎﺑِ َﻞ اﻟﺘَّﻮﺑ

“Ya sayyedas-sada-te, ya mojeebad-da’vate, ya rafe’ad-darajate, ya vali-yal hasanate, ya ghaferal-khati’ate, ya mo’ti-yal mas’alate, ya qabi-
lat-tavbate, ya same’al-asvate, ya ‘alemal-khafiyate, ya dafe’al bali yate.”
Oh the chief of all chiefs! Oh the acceptor of prayers! Oh the elevator of ranks! Oh the master of virtues! Ohthe forgiver of sins! Oh the granter
of requests! Oh the excerptor of penance! Oh the hearer of all voices! Oh the one who knows all mysteries! Oh the remover of calamities!

hifzan qawiyyā -wa fahman kāmilā
