Eniarge the hole as requred to srevent binding, Insuficiont shaft motion will cause Improper contro calibration and may prevent game play. 11 Place the plaste contol ring over the op of the joystick shaft Insta the joystick handle grip on the Joystick shaft an press it downto seat fly. Install the moc control panel onto the mosied eabine using the existing mounting hardware, Tighten al fastener fey. TYPICAL COMPLETED CONTROL PANEL. 19 GAME ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS ‘The CPU Board Assembly electronic components are static sensitive. Propare an anti-static work area and ground youtsel before removing tie CPU Board from ts protective shipping materials. Do not connect any cable to the CPU Board Assembly or Power SUPIY with the power turned on. Doing s0 while the power s tured on may damage the game and vold your warranty. 1. Do nt use excessive free. 5. Align holes and install the screws. Tighten screws snugly. NOTE: The operator must install a JAMMA wiring harness, or use the JANMA cable from the ‘existing game. Inspect exsing cabinet wring and compare wit the Recommended Cabnet Wing Diagram (Section Three). Most games already have JAMMA wing which is compatiie wih the conversion ki. Ifthe connectors in your cabinet do not tonto the Fer Board ox the wire colors do ‘otmatc the JAMMA Chart, contact your authored distributor for assistance wih his problem. CAUTION Property insulate any unused wires within the JAMMA cable, especially red, yellow, orange ‘and black power wires. Secure any unused connectors away from the CPU Board < CORRECT JAMMA CONNECTION WRONGI_-FILTER BOARO MISSING! Do not connect the JAMIA wiring harness directly fo the PCB Connector on the end panel cf the electronics assembly. All JAMMA wiring must connect to the iter Board Assembly only. Fallure to install the Fier Board Assembly onto the CPU Board will damage intomal circuits. 4. Locate the START 1 wires rom the JAMMA cable a the conto! panel (refer tothe JAMMA Chart and the Cabinet Wieng Diagram in Section Tree). Connect these wires tothe contol panel pushbutton ‘The swich must be Normal Open. Insulate and secure any unused wires auay fem the joystick ‘and such terminals. Attach the proper end ofthe harness tothe joystick cabo 3. Cabinets without compex speaker systems may be wired ditecty to the JANMA Connector harness. Connect these wires fo the speaker terminals. Secure the wirng using appropriate lamps and screws. Locate the equa spit forte beads, Separate the vires in the main hamess into two bundles where they tach tothe JAMMA connector. Place the beads as cose tothe JAMMA connector as possible, then close and lock each one. Ensure that no wires are pinched or caughtin the ates. 5. Altach the winng hamess JAMMA Connector to the Fite Board Assembly. Attach the feur-pin Joystick connector and the iwo-pin woofer conneciers ta the Fite: Board Mate the coonectore and ress tly to Seat he contacts fully. The connectors ae Keyed.
