II. RATIONALE

Information and Communication Technologies are becoming very important in all areas that
operate in today's world. Knowledge of the management and use of Computing is no longer called a
professional and exclusive career for a group of experts, but has become a necessity for the development of
people within this globalized world.

The IEP “John F. Kennedy”, is an institution created by RS No. 1040, which since its foundation
has worked for the benefit of the Chinchana population, is attended by young students from the area, as well as
from districts and provinces surrounding and distant from it. Since 1946, when its educational work began,
young people have graduated prepared to work in the labor field in the different specialties offered, such as:
Automotive Mechanics, Production Mechanics, Masonry, Consumer Electronic Equipment, Industrial
Electrotechnics, Cabinetry , Industrial Design and Industrial Clothing. The deficiency that our Institution currently
presents, due to the rise of computer technology, is that its students are not being trained according to the ideal

profile requested by the labor market, since it does not have computer equipment that allows them to catch up
with the demands of the market, making it difficult to immerse themselves in this globalized world.

It is necessary for public or private institutions that provide educational services to profile their
students in accordance with the new work demands, especially if it is a Technical Education Institution like ours.

Four years after the Earthquake that occurred in our city and despite having new infrastructure,
built by the sister country of Japan, the equipment has not yet been carried out. The problem arises due to
inadequate educational policies, without a vision of the future for the benefit of students and the lack of
economic resources, to which we are subjected as we are a public institution and dependent on the educational
budget in charge of the Ministry of Education. That is why we present this project in order to make other
alternatives viable that allow us to obtain the equipment we need, with the support of entities that show
solidarity with our institution and the 2,400 students that we host daily and who require a comprehensive and
updated education. right that assists them but is denied to us.

Through the present we seek to implement our computer room with 42 PCs, since we have the
infrastructure and facilities, adequate and with sufficient capacity for the number of students.

IV. PRIORITIZED PROBLEM:

Lack of computer equipment in the IT room at the “John F. Kennedy."

4.1. General objective

 Equip and implement the computer room with modern computer equipment, for the development of
educational activities at the “John F. Kennedy”

4.2. Specific objectives

 Guarantee the quality and efficiency of the Educational Service in terms of educational excellence.

 Promote the use of computers as an educational means and information bank.

V. GOAL ACHIEVEMENT:

The Educational Institution is currently part of the Educational Municipalization Plan process, a
situation that acts as an aggravating factor in the difficulty of implementing the equipment, since the Municipality
does not have sufficient economic resources to execute this project. just as the current Mayor stated; It is for this
reason that we find ourselves in the need to go to other instances to carry out this project. The teachers of the
Institution are aware that technology is changing and that the education we are providing is not sufficient for the
comprehensive training of the Industrial student.

On this occasion, we went to your office in order to request support or authorization from
corresponding entities that can identify with our cause and support us in achieving our goal.

VI. RELEVANCE, RELEVANCE AND VIABILITY OF THE PROJECT:

The project is pertinent because currently, education focuses on the design, elaboration,
development, use and evaluation of ICTs, in the learning process of young students.

continuous improvement of the educational system, through technology and appropriate use of ICTs in regular
Basic Education.

The project is viable, since the problem responds to a current basic educational need; Its
application and scope in the future will allow; achieve the improvement of the educational quality of students by
graduating with basic technological knowledge for their development within a society with the application of
changing technological knowledge.

VII. SUSTAINABILITY

This project is sustainable, due to the accelerated technological changes in which we are currently
immersed, the need for updating that each of our students has, leads us to look for options in which we cannot
support and request the necessary materials for the development. of our educational work.

The equipment that can be obtained will be located in the computing area, which has 02 rooms
designed by the Japanese Government to provide this service, located on the third floor of the central pavilion of
the educational institution.

It is necessary that all agents of the Educational Community, Ministry of Education, Regional
