Sir, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to explain my recent absences and to
respectfully request a waiver of the associated fines and consideration for attendance
marks.

Over the past four months (February – May), my family has faced significant financial
difficulties. As the primary breadwinner, I had to take on a job to support my family during
this challenging period. Unfortunately, this situation necessitated my absence from
classes, as balancing work and academic responsibilities proved to be extremely difficult.I
fully understand the importance of attendance and the policies in place. However, these
circumstances were beyond my control, and I had no alternative but to prioritize my
family’s immediate needs. I am now in a more stable position and committed to catching
up on any missed work and participating fully in my classes moving forward.

I kindly request your understanding and compassion regarding this matter. I am hoping that
you could consider waiving the fines imposed for my absences and grant me the necessary
attendance marks. Your support would greatly alleviate the pressure on my family and
enable me to focus on my studies without additional financial strain.
