Subject: Request to Surrender New PAN - HJRPP0060E
Dear Sir / Madam,
With due respect, I, hereby, state that my name is Sagar Prasad, and I am
writing to bring to your attention a situation regarding my PAN cards.
Previously, my PAN card with the number BCDPP0141D went missing,
prompting me to apply for a new one. Consequently, I received a PAN card with the
number HJRPP0060E.
However, upon further consideration and understanding the implications of
holding multiple PAN cards, I am aware that it is against the regulations set by the
Income Tax Department. To rectify this oversight, I am formally requesting your
guidance on the process of surrendering the new PAN card with the number
HJRPP0060E.
I understand the importance of maintaining accurate and singular PAN records,
and I am committed to complying with all regulations set forth by the Income Tax
Department. Please guide me on the necessary steps and procedures to surrender the
new PAN card.
I have attached copies of both PAN cards (BCDPP0141D and HJRPP0060E) for
your reference. Your assistance in this matter is highly appreciated.
                                                                          Sincerely,
                                                                      Sagar Prasad
