Get Up and Start Over (Psalm 37:23-40)
Question:
Are you feeling “down” today? Are you discouraged because of your experience yesterday? In
somewhat experience nga dili malikayan, did you stumble and fall by yielding to sin?
There is something worse than falling down -- it is staying down. The wicked fall and shall not
rise (magpabilin sila sa sala), but with the Christian it is not so. Though we do sometimes fall,
yet we will not be content until we are restored. We should not even sin, but mostly we do it.
Thus, the apostle John wrote in (1 John 1:8), “If we say that we have no sin, we deceived
ourselves”. But here’s GOOD NEWS: as we further read the verse until (1 John 2:1) it says,
“These things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate
with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
So even if we sin as Christians we must admit our failings. Don’t worry over them, but instead
confess them. Before Jesus died for us, He already knew that we would continue to struggle
with sin, so that is why HE made a provision for our daily cleansing.
Through Prayer…. Make a fresh start each day by taking time to confess your sins, to admit your
weaknesses, and to ask God for His strength to do what He wants you to do. As we depend on
the Lord’s grace and strength, then and therefore you will soon know that victory really is……

Christians we simply make this failures as success because we can ALWAYS learn from our
mistakes as we depend on the Lord’s grace and strength so therefore GET UP AND START OVER.
