AFFIDAVIT OF ARRESTING OFFICER
1, SP03 David, a member of Philippine National Police, presently assigned at
Davao Police Station, Davao City, do hereby depose and state:
1. That I am one of the police officers who conducted a checkpoint operation
along MCLL. Highway, Divisoria, dated January 17, 2020,
2. That said operation is randomly conducted per advise by the commanding
officer of Police station 6;
3. That on or about 5:50 p.m. of the same date, we received message thru radio
from the Company stationed at the Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT), requesting for
the apprehension of a certain tricycle color bearing plate no. HA 123, for an
alleged robbery.
4. That the driver together with his companions (later known to be Teddy and
Paulo took an unconscionable amount as payment for their tricycle trip from their
passengers;
5. That a few minutes upon learning of the said request, we cited the above
described vehicle approaching the checkpoint,
6. Upon arrival thereat, we successfully apprehend the suspect and approached
the complainant and after few conversation, the suspect prompted the
undersigned to immediately effect arrest.
7. The suspect was brought to the Davao City Police Station for booking and
proper disposition. Likewise, the arrested person was apprised of their rights as
provided under the Philippine constitution.
8. We executed this joint affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts
and to support the filling of criminal case against the suspects.
