STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
INTRODUCTION
I would like to share the precise details about myself. My name is Jarmanjit Singh and being the citizen
of India, I hold Indian passport and my passport number is X4728469. Business plays a crucial role in my
life as since my childhood I always dreamt to make my career in this field and therefore I am applying for
Bachelor of Arts(Honours) in Business Management from Global University Systems (GUS) –Arden
University for November,2024 intake.
EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT
I passed my matriculation in the year 2022 under Punjab School Education Board with 87% and I move
ahead with my senior secondary education which I passed in the year of 2024 in the field of commerce
with the percentage of 83% under Punjab School Education Board.
I was born in a business family and contain blood of a businessman. During my childhood, I used to listen
stories about business from my father and it always inspires me a lot and to continue my passion in
business I want to study this course.
LINGUISTIC S APPROACH
I appeared for IELST examination on 6th July-2024 in which my overall band score is 6.0 and in each
module I Scored Listening-6, Reading- 6.0, Writing-6.0, Speaking-5.5.
WHY I WANT TO STUDY BACHELOR OF ARTS (HONOURS) IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT My interest in
understanding the dynamics of companies and markets has led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts
(Honours) in Business Management. Business management involves a wide range of disciplines, from
finance and marketing to operations and strategy, all of which influence how organizations run and grow
in a competitive environment. I am particularly interested in the strategic parts of management, where
analytical thinking and decision-making are critical in guiding firms to success. This program provides a
comprehensive curriculum that not only teaches economics, accounting, and leadership, but also
stresses practical skills like project management and entrepreneurship. By obtaining this degree, I hope
to gain insight into global business processes and the expertise required to tackle challenging challenges
across industries. Finally, I see this path as an opportunity to develop a diverse skill set that will enable
me to contribute effectively to the ever-changing business and management scene.

success for me but also will take care of my family simultaneously. When I will start my career I can opt
for various job positions such as management Trainee, Sales Representative, Marketing Executive,
Manager with the pay scale ranging from or even have my won start up which I am optimistic that with
the skills that I will gain from this course will benefit my business into a great profit.
