STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

INTRODUCTION

Before I start about describing about myself, my name is Pooja and being the native of India, I attain an
Indian passport and my passport number is Y7930852. I have developed a deep interest in business field
during the tenure of my studies and I wish to embark my career in the same field and to keep in the
view of this, I am applying for Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management
(Specialization) from Niagara University, Canada.

ACADEMICS QUALIFICATIONS

To begin with my academic qualifications, I passed my matriculation in 2014 under Punjab School
Education Board with 68% moving along, I passed my senior secondary education in the field of
Humanities under Punjab School Education Board in 2016 with 82% after my year 12, I did a Diploma in
Computer Science from Z Career Academy from 02/04/2016-02/4/2017 with 60% I have done LA Project
Management Course of the tenure of 1 year from St. Lawrence College of Applied Arts and Technology.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST

I am fully aware that in order to retain into an international country, I have to have a hold on their
native language as well and to keep this in my mind, I appeared for International English Language
Testing Systems (IELTS) on 11/03/2023 with an overalls core of 6.5 and in other modules I scored
Listening-7.5, Reading-6.0, Writing-6.5, Speaking-6.0.

WHAT MOTIVATES ME TO STUDY AT CANADA?

I am motivated to study in Canada for a number of reasons. To begin with, Canada is well known for its
excellent educational system, which places a strong emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, and hands-
on learning. Furthermore, Canada offers a singular chance for personal development and cross-cultural
interchange because of its inclusive and diverse atmosphere. Having conversations with classmates from
different backgrounds will extend my horizons and improve my awareness of the world. Additionally,

WHY I WANT TO STUDY AT NIAGARA UNIVERSITY?

I have various reasons why I am excited to attend Niagara University. First off, my academic objectives

WHY I WANT TO STUDY MASTERS IN BUSINESS ADMINSITRATION IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT

In order to combine my interest in efficient management techniques with my enthusiasm for healthcare,
I wish to pursue a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Management. Strong
leadership is crucial to tackling issues like cost control, patient care quality, and technology
improvements in the quickly changing healthcare industry. My goal in studying healthcare management
is to have a thorough comprehension of the distinct dynamics present in this sector. Strategic planning,
financial management, and policy development are three areas that greatly fascinate me since they are
critical to enhancing healthcare systems and patient outcomes. This degree will also give me the abilities
to do data analysis and apply creative solutions that improve service delivery and operational
effectiveness. Additionally, I find that the cooperative and the interdisciplinary character of this sector
foster collaborations between leaders in business, politics, and healthcare. My ultimate objective is to

I have known since I was a little child that the advanced learning, knowledge, and abilities I will acquire
from my degree in Canada will eventually allow me to develop a profession in my home-country India.
By doing this, I will take care of my family and open the path to prosperity for myself all at once. When I
begin working, I have a variety of job options to choose from, including At organizations like Apollo
Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, Max Healthcare, Manipal Health, Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young Enterprises,
National Health Mission, and WHO India, there are positions for healthcare administrators, operations
managers, consultants, policy analysts, business development managers, and health information
managers, with annual salaries ranging from ₹8 to ₹18 LPA. These positions have excellent chances for
advancement and influence within the healthcare industry.
