@whensoumetsue
INTRODUCTION

love it!

Puedes utilizar back and forth para explicar tu

John had a change of heart about his career and decided to
pursue his passion for painting

To change your mind: este lo usamos cuando cambiamos de

opinión, decisión o intención.
She was going to buy the red dress, but the blue one made her
change her mind.

SUE'S NOTES:
O sea,

I love how she uses this phrasal verb in this song. Different

SOU'S NOTES:
'ashamed':
To be embarrassed: sentirte avergonzado o incómodo por un error
importancia.
She was embarrassed when she tripped in front of everyone.
He felt ashamed of lying to his friend.

SUE'S NOTES:
KNOCK sb OFF their FEET puede significar derrumbar/tumbar
literalmente. Alguien me empuja y caigo al suelo y puedo decir:
"She knocked me off my feet" (como una perdida de equilibrio).
"I saw him in the park
and he completely knocked me off my feet."

SOU'S NOTES:

'Read aloud' o 'read out loud'?

snide remark about your tattoos. Un comentario acerca de ellos
mostrando desaprobación. Un sinónimo es sneering (adj).

I used to be really shy when I was 15.

Get used to + -ing: Acostumbrarse a algo, nos centramos en el
