Satisfactory Backfill/Fill materials are tested and approved for use as

per project specification. Soil Classification Test Report is available.
Backfill materials have no oversize and are properly graded prior to

use.
Subgrade should be clean and free from any debris prior to start
3 backfilling works. Subgrade should be aerated or sprayed with water
before placing of backfill materials.
Markings for each layer should be visible in the four comers and
4 edges in the area to be backfilled for easy identification and
monitoring.

Field Density Testing is done by approved 3 party agency. FDT

Test reports are available.
Thickness of layer should not exceed the maximum requirement as

per project specification. Each layer is compacted per specification.
Compaction Field Density Test performed using approved method
7 as per project specifications. Subgrade compaction satisfies the
minimum requirement as per project specifications.
