Please find below approval for Colour Code to be used for Mechanical Equipments of Coil Packaging Lines # 1 &2
:
i) All Stationary Mechanical Equipments : Patina Green (RAL No. 6000)
ii) All Moving Mechanical Equipment : Dark Golden Yellow (RAL No. 1004)

iii) All Moving Mechanical Equipment which may cause injuries (such as coil cars & other conveyors): Base -:
Dark Golden Yellow (RAL No. 1004) with black strips.
iv) Technological steel structures : Sky Blue (RAL No. 5015)
v) Control Rooms & pulpits : Inside – Cream (RAL No. 9010), Outside – Light Grey (RAL No. 7032)
vi) Bins, Scrap Buckets : Traffic Yellow (RAL No. 1023)
vii) Control Desks & Panels Cubicles : Pebble Grey (RAL No. 7032)
viii) Safety Locking Pins : Fire Red (RAL No. 3000)
ix) Fire Fighting Equipment : Fire Red ( RAL No. 3000)
x) Dangerous Area (such as Loading surfaces, edge of ramps, concrete barriers, machine guards & fences,
demarcation of dangerous area : Base -: Dark Golden Yellow (RAL No. 1004) with black strips.
M/s ITW is to follow the standard practice of painting as elaborated in Chapter 9 of General Technical
Specification.
All Technological Structural items & Service Pipe Lines shall be painted as per Chapter 9 of General Technical
Specification.
For Electrical Equipments, General Technical Specification for electrical equipment shall be followed.
