1. PAINT MATERIALS FOR CLIENT APPROVAL
Materials specified or referenced by manufacturers name and/brand are intended to describe the
type and quality level of material desired and are not intended to be restrictive or to exclude similar
items by other manufacturer. Alternate material require approval from the ENGINEER before being
used. Any approval given by the ENGINEER for alternate materials and/or application methods is
subject to change if the performance of the alternate materials or application method is later found
to be inferior to the specified materials and methods.
Approval is limited to application over surfaces operating at and application conditions less severe
than the conditions stated in the published literature of the paint material manufacturer.
Equipment fabricator shall refer paint supplier product datasheet before applying painting.

2. PLANT COLORS AND IDENTIFICATION
Painting colors on CPI Separator shall be as per Tabel 2.1.
Structure shall be color coded to warn personnel of potensial physical hazard for safety. Safety
identification color coding shall be in accordance with the Table 2.2.
Except for safety color coding and unless otherwise stated in following tables, the finish colors shall
be light ivory for equipment and structural stell.
