EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 13

AN ORDER REORGANIZING THE
BARANGAY NUTRITION COUNCIL ( BNC )
OF BARANGAY #3 POBLACION GENERAL LUNA, QUEZON
WHEREAS, the vision of the National and Local Government on Nutrition Program is
to achieve a nutritional adequacy for all to strengthen the country Human Resources;
WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 96-03 dated May 31, 1996 requiring the
activation/reactivation of Nutrition Committee at the barangay level in order to be viable
functional and effective in the integration/implementation of nutritional programs and
activities into barangay development plans;
WHEREAS, , the Nutrition Committee’s function is to formulate action program,
coordinate, monitor nutrition activities conduct periodic field visit and meeting to assess
program implementation, serve as resource group and come up with nutritional action plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Arlene P. Pinion, Punong Barangay of Barangay #3 Poblacion
General Luna, Quezon, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby reorganized
the Barangay Nutrition Committee with the following composition:
Chairperson: FRANCISCO E. ESTEVES – Punong Barangay
Vice-Chairperson: JUANITO E. ESPERA JR – SB on Health
Members: REYMUND B. ESCUREL – SB on Appropriation
SAMSON H. SARMIENTO – SB on Education
LANIE E. ERANDIO – SB on Agriculture
ARIES E. ESTERA – SK Chairperson
PERLITA F. ESCULLAR – BNS
MILANE C. BALBEDINA – Public Health Midwife
APRIL ROSE G. CIELO – DepEd Representative
MA. CLEOFE B. ABARQUEZ – Barangay Treasurer
JESWIN E. ERODA – Barangay Secretary
ABIGAEL C. DIAMANTE – Child Development Worker
SOFIA H. EVASCO – BHW
The Barangay Nutrition Committee shall immediately meet to map out plans and
strategies in response to the task and functions assigned to them. They shall submit
accomplishment reports and feedbacks to the undersigned as often as necessary.
LET copies hereof be furnished to all concerned for information, reference and
guidance.
