SANGGUNIAN RESOLUTION NO. 2015-110


A RESOLUTION APPROVING BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 07-2015
OF BARANGAY DEL PILAR, THIS CITY, “AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING
ALL HOUSEHOLDS IN BRGY. DEL PILAR, CABADBARAN CITY, TO
CONSTRUCT A SANITARY TOILET AND PROVIDING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.”

WHEREAS, presented to this Honorable Body for review and approval is


Barangay Ordinance No. 07-2015 of Barangay Del Pilar, “An Ordinance requiring all
households in Brgy. Del Pilar, Cabadbaran City, to construct a sanitary toilet and
providing penalties for violation thereof.”

WHEREAS, said Barangay Ordinance has been referred to the Committee on


Health and Nutrition for further study, evaluation and recommendation;

WHEREAS, the committee conducted a committee hearing on June 3, 2015 in


SP Conference Room, People’s Government Center, this City;

WHEREAS, Barangay Ordinance No. 07-2015 was purposely enacted to protect


and promote the health, sanitation and welfare of the people of Brgy. Del Pilar from
diseases;

WHEREAS, considering the laudable purpose of the said ordinance and finding
the same is within the power of the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Del Pilar
to enact as provided for under the general welfare clause of RA 7160, the
committee hereby recommends to approve Barangay Ordinance No. 07-2015.

NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED, by the 3rd Sangguniang Panlungsod, in its 91st Regular


Session, to approve Barangay Ordinance No. 07-2015 from Barangay Del Pilar, this
City, “An Ordinance requiring all households in Brgy. Del Pilar, Cabadbaran City to
construct a sanitary toilet and providing penalties thereof.”

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this Resolution to the Barangay


Council of Del Pilar, this City thru Hon. Judith P. Cueno, Punong Barangay for
information and guidance.
