What problems you had while shopping online
And explain how you felt about it.
I bought a lipstick on the live-streaming platform 3 days ago.
That day, I was scrolling the videos on the TikTok.
I was like a mindless zombie until I bumped into a short
video in which my favorite star was advocating a lipstick.
Normally I would not buy anything on the live-streaming
.
But I bought that lipstick on a whim because it was
endorsed by my idol.Plus, there was a huge discount, so I
placed an order without a second thought
But when I got it, I felt something was off. The color was not
what I asked for. Truth to be told, I was kinda pissed off. I
informed the vendor of this issue. But he just snubbed me
I had to submit a complaint on the platform. Eventually I got
a refund, but this experience totally spoiled my impression
on online shopping
What’s worse, the app started to feed me with similar
lipsticks non-stop.It was some algorithms which create the
" lter bubbles", You know, users are gradually con ned to
the homogeneous information bubble. And they are
immersed in the world in line with their preferences, which
makes it dif cult for them to break through the barriers
So in a nutshell, this online shopping experience was not

2. 时尚的⼈
Describe a person who is fashionable
You should say
Who he / she is
What job he / she does
What kind of dresses he / she wants
And explain why he / she likes fashion
I would like to talk about an in uencer who dresses in a
stylish and trendy manner
He posted a series of video named ‘How to become an
international model’
You know, the videos have been viewed millions of times.
In the videos, he emulated looks from the likes of Prada,
Dior, and Celine, all fashionable name-brands.
I have to confess that he has this real insight into fashion.
.
fl
He recreated the luxury brands’ campaigns with what’s
available in his own wardrobe
A baggy t-shirt, a pair of worn-out jeans, even a bit of rag,
you name it. But his look is 100% dashing.
On top of that, he would use the duck tape and a roll of toilet
paper, you know, items lying around his house and village to
add a magic touch
He has this intense contrast between the high fashion and
the provincial background.
Truth to be told, he strikes me as a fashionable critter, not
because he is a fashion victim who spends a lot of money
on the overpriced luxury clothes. But because he dresses
very creatively. He can turn anything into a striking out t
That’s what fashion is all about. Having your own taste and
not conforming with the norm

3. 漂亮物品
Describe an object that you think is beautiful.
You should say
what it is
where you saw it
What it looks like
And explain why you think it's beautiful.
I would like to talk about a glass handicraft. It was in the
shape of a rose. And it’s no exaggeration to say that it was
the most delicate and exquisite object I have ever seen
To the best of my recollection, it was three years ago when I
went on a vacation with my family in Germany, we were
taking a stroll in a street full of antique stores.
We entered a store which features all kinds of glass
knickknacks. I noticed a glass rose because it was in the
most prominent place.
It looked so lifelike. The glass curved perfectly to show the
petals and sepal. Plus, the details were also well-depicted,
for example, there was a drop of dew on the petal. It was
crystal clear which was quite distinctive compared with the
red petal
I was so impressed by it. And the shop owner told me it was
made by a master craftsman. It took him a long time to craft
something with such stunning and mind-blowing beauty. The
owner said that many tourists wanted to buy it, but it ended
up being too expensive for them. The same went for me. So
I had to part with it in a reluctant manner.
I could resign myself to it, maybe it was too divine to be
anyone’s possession. The German enjoy a reputation of
perfecting the details. And I guess that the glass rose was a
perfect example of it
.

I had a friend named Hiroto in my high school. He was an
exchange student from Japan. If my memory serves me, he
was kinda below medium height, and we became friends in
a potluck. He brought some homemade sushi and
Taiyaki which are the Japanese sh-shaped cakes. They
were the most mouth-watering I ever had
One interesting thing I noticed about him was that
during the potluck, He would pour the drinks for all of us.
And he told me that, in Japanese culture, it’s polite to pour
your companions’ drinks and let them pour yours.
e
fi
.
Pouring your own drink is seen as a bit sel sh and greedy,
not to mention antisocial. It is the last thing you want to
come across as at a party.
Also, he speaks in a low voice. According to him, in Japan,
having loud conversations in public is considered rude. If
you have to take a phone call, most subways lines have
designated cars for that.
It was an eye-opener when he told me all the interesting
things about Japan, I hope in the future I could have the
opportunity to experience the culture myself
