OMAPLEX VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP MOOT COURT
COMPETITION
1. Each team shall be represented by three (3) counsel
only, out of which not more than two (2) may be
allowed to address the court at a given sitting.
2. Teams can pick their counsel from any level/part of
the study. Teams are encouraged as much as
possible to ensure a demographic spread.
3. It is expected, based on the scenario given, that a
particular mode of commencement shall be adopted
by Teams at the Brief Writing Stage. The choice of
any other mode shall be detrimental to a team’s
chances of progressing to the next round.
4. At every stage, each team is expected to file their
processes with necessary accompanying documents
for both parties (i.e., the Claimants/ Defendants).
5. The processes filed shall conform to the following
stipulations:

cited in the Written Address.
The processes shall not exceed 3000 words,
excluding preliminary pages, Prayers, and a list of
Authorities.
All processes must be submitted on or before the
submission deadline. Deadlines may be found in
the schedule.

9. The parties must raise and address issues in strict
compliance with the scenario provided to them.
10. All counsel must be seated in court, 30 minutes
before the commencement of court proceedings
(regardless of whether the Judge is present or not)
11. The dress code is strictly White and Black (Wigs
and gowns are prohibited.
