Tips to write report

Write the name of the person reporting (writing) it just below the
heading. Give his/her designation also, if mentioned.
The date and place of the event are very important parts of a report
and must be written before the beginning of the report.
A report should be prepared in three-four short paragraphs. They can be
arranged as follows:
The first paragraph should contain a brief account of the event that
is being reported in one-two lines.
> The second and third paragraphs should contain the details of the
incident/accident such as what/how/where/when it happened along with
any special happening/action/mishap/casualties/losses, etc.
The fourth paragraph should include action taken/action required
along with the concluding remarks.
A report is written in the third person.
Use proper punctuation marks and ensure that the language, grammar
and spellings are correct.
Do not exceed the prescribed word-limit.
