Place a marker and join to work in the round, being careful to not twist the stitches.
Work in k2, p2 ribbing until brim measures 5 cm from cast on edge.
Switch to size 5.5 mm circular knitting needles

Round 11 *K2tog, K5, repeat from * to end of round.

Break yarn and thread the tail through the remaining st. Weave in ends. Block lightly if desired.
