Christmas Anchoring Script: [23/ 12/ 2024]

Good morning for one and all gathered here. I am Zaina of class 9th and I am Hamida of
class 8th are the host for the today’s Christmas celebration.
Zaina: Hi Hamida, before we dive into the celebration, let’s take a moment to reflect on the
true meaning of Christmas. It’s not just about the lights, the trees, or the gifts—it’s about the
birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Hamida: Absolutely! Zaina, and to remind us of this precious gift, here’s a verse from the
Bible that truly speaks to the heart of Christmas:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."(Isaiah 9:6)
Zaina: Such a beautiful reminder of who Jesus is to us, do you know Hamida? He is the
Prince of Peace, the one who came to bring hope and salvation to the world.
Hamida: Yes, and as we celebrate this season, let us remember that God sent His only Son
into the world to bring us love, peace, and joy. Another verse that beautifully expresses this
is: "And she brought forth her first-born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid
him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn."(Luke 2:7)
Zaina: What! a humble beginning for our Savior, Hamida? Even in the humblest of
circumstances, God’s love shone brightly through Jesus’ birth.
Hamida: Exactly Zaina and as we celebrate, let us open our hearts to this love and let it
guide us throughout the year. Here’s one more verse to keep in mind: “Glory to God in the
highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."(Luke 2:14)
Zaina: Let’s remember to carry that peace and good will in our hearts Hamida, as we
celebrate this joyous season together.
Hamida: Oh yes, Zaina
Zaina: (sings) Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, everyone! Welcome to this exciting Christmas
celebration!
Hamida: Zaina, are you sure you're not secretly Santa Claus in disguise? I can almost hear
the sleigh bells!
Zaina: Haha, you caught me, Hamida! But honestly, who isn’t feeling the Christmas cheer
right now? The lights, the decorations, and most importantly, the spirit of love and joy that
fills the air!
Hamida: Absolutely, Zaina! Christmas is the time when everything just feels... magical,
right? The joy of giving, the warmth of family, and the sparkle of festive lights!
Zaina: It’s truly a time to come together, share happiness, and celebrate the birth of Jesus
Christ. And today, we’re here to do just that!
Hamida: Yes, we have so many fun and heartwarming events lined up for you! From songs
to dances, skits to prayers, there’s something for everyone today.
Zaina: It’s going to be a fantastic celebration! So, let’s get started, shall we?
Hamida: Let’s! And what better way to begin than by inviting everyone to join us in a
prayer to bless this beautiful morning?
Zaina: Absolutely, Hamida. Christmas is all about giving thanks, and what better way to
start than with a prayer.
Hamida: Let’s all feel the presence of God through prayer dance of the class V students .
(Prayer dance)
Zaina: That was truly lovely, Thank you dear students.
Hamida: And now, to officially welcome everyone to this festive gathering, I’d like to invite
[ ] to give a warm and cheerful welcome speech.
Zaina: Yes, we’ve gathered here today to celebrate, so let’s hear the welcome that makes us
feel even more excited for the day ahead!

Hamida: Thank you, [ ], for that heartwarming welcome! Now, let’s get this
celebration rolling!

Zaina: Haha, I think we better save our moves for later, Hamida! But for now, let’s move on
to the heart of the Christmas celebration—the meaning of this special day!
Hamida: That’s right. While the dances and the fun are amazing, we must remember the true
significance of Christmas. It’s a day of love, hope, and joy, and we’re here to celebrate the
birth of Jesus Christ.
Zaina: Exactly, Hamida. Christmas is about spreading love and sharing the joy with others.
Let’s now hear from [ ] as she speaks about the true spirit of
Christmas and what it means to each of us.
(Speech on the significance of Christmas)

Hamida: Now, what would a Christmas celebration be without some sweet carols, Zaina?
Zaina: Oh, I know! Christmas carols are like the heartbeat of the season! Our kinder garden
kids and our teachers have prepared something really special for us today.
Hamida: Let’s all join in the festive spirit and enjoy the beautiful carols performed by our
talented singers.
(Carol songs are performed by both nursery and teachers)
Zaina: That was absolutely wonderful! I think I was almost transported to a snowy
Christmas village with all the twinkling lights!
Hamida: Same here! Our singers really brought the Christmas spirit to life today.
Thank you, dear kids and teachers, for the melodious spirit that you have showed within us.
Zaina: Now, Hamida, let me ask you something—do you enjoy a little drama with your
Christmas celebrations?
Hamida: Oh, absolutely! I love a good story, especially if it’s about Christmas. And our
performers have prepared something truly magical for us today. So let us invite them to the
stage to perform it.
Zaina: Exactly! Let’s watch as they bring the Christmas story to life with a heartwarming
skit.
