You swear there are monsters, you’ve seen them, you’ve seen them!!! But everyone is
telling you that they don’t. They laugh, and point at you, they ridicule you, oh how they insult
you! You will prove them wrong, show EVERYONE the truth. I mean, they might even be
closer than you think!

Your Backstory
The One You saw. You know someone is a Monster, Gain a String on them.
Someone is running you in circles, you have zero dirt on them, Give them a String on you.
Darkest Self
You want to be a monster, you want to make them feel what it’s like to be ridiculed and
harrasses. But do you need claws to be a piece of shit? Go, go be the worst person you
can, insult people, harass, hit, hammer, beat, berate, blame, go BE a Monster. You leave
your Darkest Self when a Real Monster puts you in your place, or if you do something so
horrific, it makes your stomach churn.
Sex Move
When you have sex with someone, ask if they are a monster, if they say no, Gain a String
on them. If they say yes, next time you become your Darkest Self, you copy theirs, rather
than your own.
Theorist Moves
You Choose Two:
- Wild Goose Chase
When someone does something clearly monstrous, you may take one forward to
attempt to expose them. If you do, they take a String on you.
- It’s A Conspiracy
You know when you’re being lied to! When you Gaze into the Abyss to learn about the truth
of a situation, you may choose to fail. The GM will feed you false information, which you
must run with. In return, you gain a String on Everyone involved in the “Conspiracy”.
- I Know What You Are
You threaten to reveal someone’s secret to the world, unless they do a favor for you,
roll Dark. On a 10+, they begrudgingly agree, but their actions during and afterwards,
are their own, on a 7-9, they choose one:
- They agree, but lash out in anger before doing so, dealing you one harm,
- They promise to make you suffer, they Gain a String on you before doing what was
asked,
- They flip the script, They Know What YOU are, you Mark a Condition of their choice,
before they do what you asked.
- The Fool
When someone else gives you with a Condition, Mark Experience.
- Crazy Eyes
When you are dealt harm, You give the person who hurt you a crazy look, making them roll
to Keep Their Cool. If they don’t get a 10+, they must flee and leave you bleeding, you take
an additional harm as the wound was worse than you believed…
- Cold Case
When you dig into the past, to bring for something unknown, you add 1 to every roll made to
dig up the truth.
