Each travel program is designed to care for your safety and comfort while abroad. However,
in the case of unforeseen incidents, travel insurance is an important precaution to cover you,
your family and your investment. Since 1996, the William & Mary Alumni Association has
chose USI Travel Insurance Services to provide travel insurance for alumni and friends.
USI Affinity Travel Insurance Services (USI or TIS) is an independent insurance agency,
recently recognized as one of Forbes Advisor’s Best Travel Insurance Companies for 2020, that
offers travel insurance to our alumni travel community. This optional insurance coverage is
available for trip cancellation/interruption, baggage, emergency medical and evacuation
expenses, emergency assistance services. Information on travel insurance will be sent with
your reservation confirmation from the William & Mary Alumni Travel Office. If you enroll
with USI’s Travel Insurance Select plan, they will email you a certificate of insurance that
describes the policy provisions. If you need to make a claim, you will contact the 24-hour
