Materials:
♥ yarn colors of your choice
♥ crochet hook of the appropriate size for the yarn chosen
♥ one pair of safety eyes
♥ stuffing (fiberfill, polyfill, etc.)
♥ tapestry needle
Recommended Materials:
♥ Vanna’s Choice yarn
♥ 4.25 mm crochet hook
♥ 10.5 mm safety eyes
Finished Size:
Frog stands approximately 6” tall based on “recommended materials”. Sizes
may vary depending on the yarn and size of crochet hook used.
Abbreviations:
R = round
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
inc = increase (single crochet twice in the same stitch)
dec = decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
* = repeat instructions between * and *
Important Note:
Each piece begins with a “ring”. Use any type of ring you are comfortable with
(i.e. adjustable loop, chain 2 and single crochet in second chain, etc.). Work in
one continuous spiral and mark the last stitch of each round to keep track of
where you are.

♥ Suggested Froggy Assembly Order
1) Attach the safety eyes through the eyes
2) Stuff the eyes a little and sew the eyes to the head (eyes should be centered as
shown on the next page)
3) Give the froggy a little mouth
4) Stuff the head and the body
5) Sew the body to the head
6) Sew the arms onto the body
7) Sew the legs onto the body
8) Let your froggy rest in his new lotus flower!
Note: the order of assembly is completely up to you.
♥ Pollen Puff (or simply a pom pom!)
1) Wrap white yarn around a piece of sturdy paper or cardboard that is 2” wide
approximately 50 times
2) Remove the wrapped yarn and tie another piece of white yarn around it
3) Pull tight
4) Cut through all the loops
5) It doesn’t look perfect yet!
6) Trim the pom pom until it is nice and round
