INTRODUCTION

HANDS has evolved in 36 years as one of the largest Non-Profit Organization of the country with integrated development model and disaster
management expertise. HANDS has a network of 31 district branches across the country (till June 2016) and has access to more than 23 million
population in more than 21,000 villages/ settlement of 48 districts of Pakistan. These branches are supported by 5,994 medium and small size
organizations’ network in Pakistan.

HANDS has successfully managed 578 projects during the last 23 years. This was only possible because of establishment of web based data
systems of Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resource and Services. HANDS is currently managing a budget of approximately Rs. 2,138 million.

Currently HANDS is delivering services in Health, Education, Livelihood, Infrastructure and Disaster Risk Reduction from Karachi to Chitral.
Two years back HANDS got its self-registered from Charity Commission of London and Wales. We are recently working in humanitarian crises
in France, Turkey, Greece and Nepal.

We believe whatever we have done is a sincere and devoted effort, made up to our maximum capacity. However we understand that our work is
a drop in ocean. There is lot of work to be done to bring Pakistan in the line of developed and prosperous countries, that is why, we believe in
“replication of HANDS programs” and don’t believe on doing of ourselves. However, we are confident that HANDS’ efforts will go a long way
in improving health, promoting education and making prosperous nation. We pray to Almighty Allah to give us more courage, potential and
capabilities to serve the humanity which is our ultimate goal.

Professor Abdul Gaffar Billoo
