Spacers vs Grounders

Different trees/specs of mechtech for each side. Spacer models are unfit for terraformed
planet fighting, while Grounder models are unfit for flight and space battles. Hybrid suits
made with spacer and grounder tech are known as Crossbloods and are basically
tantamount to blasphemy.

Spacers want Earth-like planets due to space/energy shortage. Mostly independent sectors
of colonies that ally to take over a planet, which means a lot of backstabbing and political
machinations. Corporate bullshit for both sides, since 3D printing and parts manufacturing is
overseen by megacorps, which gain by feeding war efforts for both sides/no side at all.

Bulky/thick, vehicle like mechs on Grounder side and nimble/thin mechs on Spacer side.
Crossbloods are a mixture of both tech lines, being multiplatform, all terrain
incomprehensible monsters to both sides.

Main conflict is with Pantheon (Colonizer group) vs Division 12 (Native group).

Piloting styles vary in two distinct groups: neural dives and stick programming. Neural dives
are overall favored by Spacers while stick programming is overall favored by Grounders.

Analog based tech for Grounders, digital based tech for Spacers.

The XMS-077 Centurion is a Grounder grunt type mech carrying a standard issue
Anti-Vehicle HMG and Heat Knife. The Centurion is generally colored green, very blocky and
bulky, and deployed with an ammo pack for its HMG.

The YSS-023 Omegon is Tyrian's custom built model. Thinner and slightly larger than the
base Upsilon, its thruster units are specially made to dash across Ferria's grassy and rocky
plains. Its venting system is unmatched by other mechs, only assisting in its ungodly speed
and agility. The Omegon's ace is the ROD, an explosive charge system that first punches
through enemy armor and then detonates inside. RODs are fired from its left forearm and
stored at the back of the frame's hip. When stored, its explosive charge is rendered inert by
chemical reactions that are activated when armed inside its forearm.
Omegon carries a custom Beam Rifle and two Heat Knifes stored in its back. Along with
standard stick controls, Omegon can be switched to the dive system on the fly.

The VX System Cavalier is a Spacer grunt mech carrying a Kinetic Shatter Buckler and
Beam Rapier. Outfitted with a half cape and a colony emblem, the Cavalier focuses on
melee combat while peppering enemies from afar with its buckler's gun.
