Angel among all the Archangels (next to Archangel Michael, of course). Is Archangel Gabriel a
“she”? A “he”? Technically speaking, Gabriel is neither. The angels are, by definition,
genderless (even though most religious texts describe them as men). Gender is an earthly
human notion.

That said, many people feel feminine energies from this particular Archangel, and often refer
to Gabriel as “she”. Gabriel is the Archangel of communication and expression. She helps us

You may be right! We will often be shown angel numbers to guide us through challenging
times or provide us with a message that we need to hear.

What Are Angel Numbers?

Angel numbers are signs sent by the universe to provide us with guidance and reassurance
when we are facing challenges or important decisions. Numbers vibrate on individual spiritual
wave lengths and have their own individual meanings. So, angels can send specific messages
depending on the numbers that they choose. Most of us are unable to communicate with the
spiritual realm directly. So instead, the forces that dwell there, often collectively called angels,
nudge us to notice things in the world around us to send us signs.

While these signs can take any form, they are very often number sequences. This is because
numbers are everywhere around us, and therefore an available language for the angels to use,
and because each number has a specific meaning, they can be used to send specific messages.
Many philosophers and theologians believe that the world has been constructed according to
a divine geometric plan.

This is why the same numbers and geometric patterns appear repeatedly in the seeming
chaos of nature and why Mathematics holds as a universal truth. Thus, numbers can be
considered among the building blocks of the universe, almost like its DNA. And like human
DNA, each number carries specific information about the world in which we live. So, angels
can use numbers to send specific messages. And many people have dedicated their lives to
understanding exactly what numbers mean to decipher those messages.

Are You Seeing Angel Numbers?

Because numbers are such a big part of our lives, it can be difficult to know whether we are
seeing angel numbers. Usually when you see angel numbers, you will see the same number
repeatedly over a short period of time, rather than just once.

You may also find the number invading your thoughts, for example, showing up in your
dreams. Your intuition will tell you whether the numbers you are seeing are spiritual
messages. Angel numbers also appear repeatedly to make an impression. In addition, the
angelic nudge that you receive to notice the number should also leave a mark on your
intuition. So, you should know in your gut whether seeing a number repeatedly is a
coincidence, or something more.

What exactly your angel number message means depends on the specific challenges that you
are facing. But angel numbers are always shown to us within a context designed to help us
understand their application and meaning. So, always pay attention to what you were doing
or thinking when you noticed the number.

What Do Angel Numbers Mean?

To interpret an angel number message, you need to pair the meaning of a number with the
context of the challenge that you are facing. This challenge will be in the front of your mind
when you notice the angel number.

Angel numbers are usually a group of three of four digits, such as 1111, 246, or 3434. You will
want to break the number down into its constituent parts to decipher the message. It is rare
to see an individual number as angel numbers, as these do not tend to be striking enough to
catch our attention.

Angel numbers will usually be a string of three or four digits. These number strings will be
constructed from the ten Cardinal Numbers (0-9) and/or the three Master Numbers (11, 22,
and 33), which are the basis of Numerology. You can then combine the different meanings of
the various numbers that appear to construct a more detailed message.

How Do You Interpret Angel Numbers?

To interpret an angel number, you should break it down into its constituent parts, which will
be Cardinal Numbers or Master Numbers. If you see the same digit repeated, such as 888 or
8888, this is an intense sign to pay attention to the core meaning of the Cardinal Number that
is represented, in this case the number 8.

If it is a mixed string, such as 579 or 1234, you will need to identify.

(1) the core numbers, which define the problem,
(2) the cause numbers, which point to the reason for the problem,
(3) the effect numbers, which suggest the best way forward,
(4) the cumulative numbers, which indicate the overall impact on your life.

In terms of the cumulative number, 3+4+3+4=14, which should then further reduce to 1+4=5.
However, if the cumulative number adds up to one of the three Master Numbers, 11, 22, or
33, you don’t break them down further to single digit Cardinal Numbers, as these numbers
have individual, specific meanings.

Master Numbers are believed to be some of the most powerful in the universe and seeing
one should almost feel like the universe is shouting at you. However, it is also not uncommon
to see the same number repeated three or four times, such as 3333 or 777. These are not
linked to the Master Numbers but is rather an intense manifestation of the Cardinal Number
that is repeated. This may also feel like the universe is shouting at you, because the message
is simple, clear, and unambiguous.

both all possible realities and the void. It suggests that the
world is your oyster, and you can make what you want of
your life. But you need to choose a direction, otherwise you
will find yourself stuck. The number 0 is a good omen for
the future.

Finding Your Angel Numbers

Angels send us signs when we are in need of help, guidance, or reassurance, even if we don’t
realize that we need it. When it is the right time to receive an Angel Number varies
significantly from person to person, and the angels know us personally.

So, some people may receive them frequently, while other people receive them only rarely.
If you feel like you are in need of guidance, you can call on the support of the angels by
meditating on your problem and asking the spiritual forces that you feel connected to for
guidance.

However, do not fall into the trap of looking for angel numbers everywhere you go. If you are
looking for signs, it is often easy to trick yourself into seeing them. But your angels will not
send you multiple different signs related to different problems all around the same time. They
will only send you one message at a time so that their communications are strong and clear.
They want to be understood.

center yourself. Allow any tension or worries to dissolve as you exhale. As you relax, set your
intention to connect with your guardian angel and create a mental space of openness and
receptivity.

2. Ask for your guardian angel's presence and guidance. You might do this silently to yourself,

into your awareness. You might say something like, "Dear guardian angel, I welcome your

forehead, where the third eye chakra is located. Imagine this area gently opening, allowing
the energy to flow freely. Visualize a vibrant indigo light radiating from this space, signifying
the activation of the third eye chakra.

5. After spending time connecting with your guardian angel, thank your guardian angels for
their guidance and support.

Offer heartfelt thanks for any messages or support you received during the connection. You
can say, "Thank you, dear guardian angel, for your love, guidance, and assistance. I am

Chapter 9: Do Guardian Angels Choose Us?

We all have guardian angels. Actually, we all have more than 1 (but we’ll get to that in a
moment). Guardian Angels are amazingly wonderful beings. They are like your celestial BFFs.
They almost have a motherly quality to them. They constantly check in with you to make sure
you are doing okay (and that you are taking care of yourself). You can count on them to be
your biggest cheerleader when you need them most. And when you are slacking or
procrastinating, they will gently nudge you in the right direction.

Your Guardian Angels travel at the speed of thought, so they are always much closer than you
think. Like the Archangels, they will send signs and messages to alert you of their presence.
You may feel their energy around you, see them in dreams or experience them manifesting
as shimmering orbs of light.

Not too long ago, I even saw my lead Guardian Angel in physical form. I was working on a
writing project (about the Angels, no less!). I looked up from my laptop and there he was. He
appeared before me wearing a navy single-breasted suit, tan fedora and chocolatey brown
pointed dress shoes. (I suspect he took this appearance because he knows of my affinity for
1940s movies.) He stood in my hallway nearly 10 feet tall. I smiled at him and thanked him for
being there for me. What I remember most is that I felt incredibly loved, calm and at peace.

Like the other angels in the Angelic realm,

Guardian Angels are genderless. However, the
angels carry attributes that we earthly beings
commonly associate with masculine or feminine
traits (hence why I refer to my leading Guardian
Angel in the masculine tense).

I had more questions about Guardian Angels, so I

asked Archangel Uriel – the keeper of Divine
wisdom – to explain in a recent channelling
session. And here’s what he had to say.

Greetings from Archangel Uriel.
Your leading Guardian Angels are yours and yours
alone. They walk through life with you from
incarnation and are not shared with anyone else.
And you are so very special to them. They are
completely devoted to you. That’s because they chose YOU from an entire Universe of
beautiful souls...to be by your side always.

How did they come to choose you? It’s twofold, Dear One. Your Guardian Angels know the
lessons you need to learn in this lifetime. At the most fundamental level, they want to be of
help to you on this journey. If they feel they can be, they declare themselves a match.

But this union goes much deeper than this. You see, your Guardian Angels can see directly
into your soul – the true essence of you. They can connect with you so deeply on an

are about to become. And this is a very, very special relationship that is to be cherished.

From the moment of conception, they are with you until you depart this earth. That is, unless
they choose to serve as a companion on future incarnations. They took a blessed vow to
protect, support and comfort you...and that sacred covenant is never to be broken or
abandoned.

Notice we speak of Guardian Angels – plural. Walking through this world is a big job. That is
why you have a team of Guardian Angels with you. Watching. Guiding. Supporting. And like a
team, there’s a “captain” – a lead Guardian Angel that is with you through all the seasons of
your life. But a team never plays alone. That is why there are handfuls of other Guardian
Angels who accompany your leading Angel at various points in your life. Think of them as the
supporting cast in the story of your life.

They collaborate and conspire to figure out how to best be of assistance to you and to ensure
that you are true to your soul journey. Some of these Guardian Angels stay with you through
the course of your life. Others drift in and out – like a gentle breeze – to help you learn and
grow. Perhaps an additional Guardian Angel will step forward to help guide you toward a kind,
loving relationship. Or a Guardian Angel may suddenly appear to assist you in accomplishing
a certain goal, like your studies. Or a Guardian Angel may walk in at just the right moment to
give you support in a difficult situation, like the passing of a parent.

Once their job is done, they hug you and say their farewells. That is, unless their help is needed
again later on. Your Guardian Angels want to assist you on your soul’s path. However, they
will always respect your free will and your right to direct the course of your life. The more you
ask for their intervention and guidance, the more they can reveal themselves in your everyday
life. Or very simply, more invitations for help beget more help from the celestial plane.

When your heart weighs heavy or your inner light turns dim, reach out to your Guardian
Angels for comfort and to soothe your soul.

It is 3 a.m. And I am up. And it is during this time, I find it really easy to connect with and
channel the angels. Their messages are so, so clear. Does your internal alarm clock go off at
this time, too? There could be a divine reason for this.

The Witching Hour

The hour between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. – is the time of night when the barrier between the
physical and spiritual realm is the thinnest. This allows guides, spirits and angels to seamlessly
travel between the two worlds and come whisper in your ear.

Could it be a coincidence that you wake up at this time? Very simply: no. Remember
synchronicity? There are no accidents or coincidences in this Universe. There is a purpose
behind every action. That means if you are consistently waking up at this time, there is a
reason. Spiritual or otherwise.

There are many possible reasons why you could be waking up at 3 a.m.

1. A sign of awakening
Being bright eyed from 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. could mean that your consciousness is “waking up.”
You are developing greater self-awareness in a world that’s so desperately lacking in this area.
When you are amid an awakening, your realignment is shifting back to your natural state of
being. The result? You’re physically waking up at a time when the veil between these two
dimensions is most permeable.

2. Your spirit guides and angels are sending you messages

During this window, there’s less noise and interruption. Usage of electronics is lower, so there
is less exposure to those frequencies. Your personal vibrational state is very calm and at ease.

This makes it so much easier to be sensitive to the subtle energies of the spirit world. And it
also makes it easier for the celestial realm to reach out and give you a ring. Your spirit guides
and angels may be trying to establish a spiritual connection to send a message, give higher
guidance, assist you with your inner soul work or help you expand your consciousness.

Your loved ones may also be dropping by at this time to say hello or share a message. Think
of it as a blessing. Your Guides and Angels chose you to receive this specific message at this
precise point in time.

3. A call to manifest and co-create

Between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., the world is still...still. The emails have not hit the inbox yet. The
kids are sleeping. And so is the dog. Your mind is free of distraction. And, at this time, the
Universe may be calling you to uplevel your manifesting game. Take these precious moments
of quiet and peace to think about what you want in life. And then believe it into being.

What should you do during the Witching Hour?

First, take note of what time you are waking up to see if there are any consistencies. For
example, do you wake at 3:33 each morning? Well, Angel number 333 carries its own special
meaning. Bring a notebook and pen and keep it by your side.

Next lie down on your back or sit upright in a chair with your feet flat on the floor (whatever
is most comfortable for you). Place your palms by your side facing upward to denote the
receiving position. Focus on your breathing and try to relax and release any tension in your
body. Draw attention to your third eye, located between your eyebrows. As you focus your
energy to this area, you may notice a little pressure on your forehead. That is perfectly normal.

Make a mental note of any images, words, feelings, etc. that pop up in your head. Do not
force anything. And do not try to make sense of it right now. Let it flow naturally. Continue
your breathing. When you feel as though you have finished receiving, return your attention
to the room you’re in. Slowly open your eyes. Thank your angels and spirit guides. Write down
any messages you have received, as well as your interpretation of these messages, for you to
review later on in the day.

Chapter 11: Inspirational True Stories of Angelic Miracles

Are angels real? Are they truly around us? We often do not hear about angels and when we
do, the stories are often secularized or commercialized. The truth is, angels still walk among
us and each story of a true encounter with one is quite unique and amazing.

Angels are spiritual beings with a much different frequency compared to humans. Increasing
your present awareness of angels is one of the best ways to start noticing their presence. On
mountain slopes, on desolate rural highways and airplane cockpits are just a few of the places
where ordinary people have felt the real presence of angels at work in their lives.

Here are true stories of heavenly visitors.

Angels at crash site

Lillie Leonardi’s story may seem unbelievable to some, but the former FBI officer, who retired
after suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder linked to her role in the aftermath of the
September 11 terror attacks is adamant about what she witnessed. Leonardi said she saw
legions of angels guarding the Pennsylvania site where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed.
When she arrived at the site just three hours after the crash, she was struck by numerous
elements. She was so startled, she kept it to herself out of fear that her co-workers would
think she lost her mind.

“I started seeing shimmery lights…and it was kind of misty and that’s when I first saw angels
there,” Leonardi said. “And I didn’t say anything to the guys because you can imagine if I
would have said, ‘I just saw angels on the crash site,’ they’d have called the office and they’d
have said, ‘She lost her mind and tell her to go home.’” They were dressed as if they were in
warrior garb like a Roman centurion, she said. There were so many of them, you could not
see their faces. She continued to see flickers of light, each angel guarding the crash site. Her
hope in sharing her story is that people would know that God was present on 9/11. – Lillie

A Knock at the Door

When I was a kid, my parents were very poor and
money came mostly through individual donations.
One day funds were very tight and Mum was praying
in her room and reading her Bible, when she read a
verse that said “and the Lord will provide your
wages”. At that moment, there was a knock at the
door.

She answered it and there stood a young lady. “My

friend asked me to give you this,” she said, and handed mum an envelope. Stunned, mum
said thanks and closed the door. She peeked in the envelope and it contained a good amount
of cash. There was no more than 30 seconds between closing the door and opening it again,
but the girl was gone.

It would have taken more than 30 seconds to reach the street and the view was clear. There
was nowhere for her to go and there was no car. To this day, my Mum is convinced that this
was an angel sent by the Lord. Eleanor Smith

Guiding Lights on a Snowy Night

One night, my wife and I went across to

an American air force base (Misawa) east
of where we were working as
missionaries in Aomori, northern Japan. It
was a chance for us to have fellowship
with some strong Christians and be
refreshed for ministry.

Getting there was an hour and a half- long

journey across a mountain pass, which
was very tricky in winter with thick drifts of snow on the sides and the occasional car buried
deep. Driving home, we were very, very tired. The snow had started to fall and came down in
big cotton ball sized flakes, making vision difficult. Late on a Friday night, out in the country
along this mountain pass, there were few cars. But then a car appeared in front of us. Behind
this car we stayed for the next hour, along the difficult mountain pass stretch, always keeping
the rear red lights in view.

Why do I think we followed one of God’s messengers? The car came when I was really tired
and the car drove at a safe speed for over an hour, never speeding up, slowing down, or even
pulling off, if that was possible. Those red lights were a beacon of safety for us as we followed
them through the heavily falling snow. And we sure did not like the idea of pulling over to
take a nap up on that pass with the snow falling as it was. We have often believed that God
had sent an angel to guide us home safely on that cold and dangerous night. – Shane Lee

A Mysterious Helping Hand

I had a problem with walking. The last time I

ever attempted to travel by myself on the
London Tube – on crutches with a large
rucksack – I found myself at Putney station
facing an enormous flight of stairs. There was
no lift or escalator and I stood at the bottom
thinking, “I can’t do this. I just can’t”. I wanted
to cry because I should have been able to manage the stairs, but I could not. I just prayed.

And then a man with the most amazing face appeared at my side. “Can I carry your bag and
help you up the stairs?” he said. I could not stop staring at him. He took my bag, took my arm,
helped me to the top, gave me back my bag. By the time I got sorted and turned around to
thank him, he was gone. I mean, totally gone. Nowhere to be seen. I feel very certain he was

A Mysterious Doctor

I was unexpectedly admitted to hospital after a

routine biopsy went wrong. Lots of doctors
came to see me, and I was not sure what was
going on. One doctor came to see me the next
day and explained everything really clearly, so I
could understand what was happening. He came
to see me a second time with some good news
also. But when my specialist and others came
later, they did not know of any doctor by the
name that I mentioned to them, and no one else
seemed to be aware of this doctor. This led me to think he may have been an angel provided

A Man in a Suit in India

My friend and I had just arrived in India for our
physio placement, but no one met us at the
station. We were both 21 years old. At 3 a.m., we
got off the train and we ended up in what can
only be described as very dodgy back streets with
nothing but men and their rickshaws. We
approached several of them, none of whom
spoke English. It was hopeless and we simply
cried. Then, a tall gentleman dressed in a suit and
carrying a briefcase approached us. He was
totally out of context. He knew the village and even exactly where the hospital was we were
due to stay in. He instructed one of the drivers and got a guard to accompany us the entire
journey and told us how much money to give the driver. He then disappeared. On reflection

Flat Tyre
About twenty years ago now, I was once in a
desperate state. My relationship was breaking
up, and I was very stressed at work. One day I
was very late for a meeting in North Wales. I had
just picked up my hire car and was driving
up Great Portland Street in London when my
back tyre suddenly went flat. I had never
changed a tyre, it was a hire car I was not
familiar with, it was raining very hard and, to cap it off, it was rush hour. I was
staring helplessly at the flat tyre when a businessman in a suit stopped, opened the boot,
jacked up the car, and changed the tyre. When I turned to thank him, he had disappeared into

Flaming Body, a Bright Light
In the early days of the 24/7 prayer movement in
Chichester, we were often waking up in the small
hours and travelling to the prayer room. One time,
as I was waking, an angel sort of appeared in my
bedroom. Her body and face were the colours of
flames and there was a soft sound of singing in a
language that sounded like tongues. I remember
feeling a powerful sense of peace. Another time I
remember seeing a huge flash of bright light as we
were worshiping. It was so amazing I jumped right
out of my skin but was surprised no one else responded. It was certainly a season of
heightened expectation I think and assured me there is so much more than we can fully

A Miraculous Leap
In 1982, a thief in northern Ghana tried to kill me
by cracking open my skull with a car stand, trying
to cut through my jugular, then whacking me
over the face with a broken bottle. My wife
Eileen, who was trapped inside, recounts what
happened next. The thief locked me out of the
courtyard and took the keys. There was no way
Eileen could unlock the front door so, when I
came to, she sent me around the back where
there was a cement wall and picket gate about eye-level high. It was also locked. She then
says I flew over the gate and landed sitting at her feet, where she then supported me into the
house and treated my wounds. It must have been an angel that carried me over the gate. –
