Dear Parents,
We wish you and your child a very happy summer holiday. Its time to
enjoy and create a bond with family, friends and relatives. To utilize this
time in the most constructive way we have prepared holiday homework
for children on the principle of “learning by doing” for his/her holistic
development.
Kindly ensure that the holiday homework is completed by the
students under the guidance of the parents.

HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
Activities that will help in promoting more
creativity and critical thinking
You are at home-
English
Help your children to memorize your
home address and contact number.
Reading practice of chapter 4, 5 and 6 with
the help of parents.
Learn poem “The Moon”. [Page No. 32]
Do write the poem “The Moon” and
decorate it beautifully in your English
Reader Class Work copy.
EVS
 Reading practice of Ch 5 to 10.
 Paste 5 healthy and 5 junk
foods on A4 size coloured paper.
 Plant a sapling in your garden.
 Paste pictures of different
cloths in EVS class work copy.

 Make stick puppets of all the family


members and learn 1 or 2 lines telling
how you help them.
 Paste pictures of different festivals in
your GK classwork copy.

VALUE EDUCATION
 Paste any 5 pictures of Good Manners
in Value Education classwork copy.

July 2023.
 Arrange all these worksheets in a file or
folder with proper name and roll
number.
