Carrom Rules

Tournament Rules

→It will be a doubles event where each team will be of 2 players.

→1 set will be played between two teams and the winning team moves

ahead. 3 sets will be played from quarter-finals.

→Every match will be a knockout match.

→Tournament will be held in SAC.

→Interchange of players between the two teams will lead to

disqualification of the team

Carrom Rules

→The game will be of black and white format.

→Thumb/Back shots are not allowed.

→Sinking the striker costs you one piece and your turn. But, if you sink a

piece in the same shot, then two come up and you shoot again.

→If you sink the striker and you haven't sunk any coin yet, then you owe

one.

→If you sink the striker and you haven't sunk any coin yet, then you owe

one.

→If while shooting for the queen, you also sink one of your carrom men in

the same shot, the queen is automatically covered, no matter which

went first.

Carrom Rules

→ If you sink your opponent’s coin, you lose your turn. If you sink their last coin, you

lose the board.

→If you sink your last coin before the queen, then all your coins will come again on

the board.

→ If the striker does not leave both lines, go again. You get three tries to break

before losing your turn.

→You cannot shoot from half red circle.

→ Only one hand can be used in the play. Participants cannot change hands during

the game.
