SHARKS T20 CRICKET LEAGUE TOURNAMENT (STCL-BENDEMMER)

RULES & REGULATION GUIDELINES,

Tournament Rules [ICC Rules Except LBW]

1.Only players whose name appears on the official Criclubs application may participate.
A valid Photograph should be displayed is required for check-in each game.

NO ID…NO PLAY!

2. Teams will be given a 15-20 minute grace period to field/bat with a minimum of 7
players who have checked in at the ground /report to Umpire/captain to start and finish
a game. Refer: MATCH DELAY REFERENCES TABLE

3. VICKY RED HARD TENNIS BALLS are allowed, Organizers do not provide stumps,
outer cones, inner cones, so teams should bring their own. Both team captains will
decide the boundary circle and 30-yard circle.

4.Break in between Innings

3-5 minutes: Water break [AFTER 10 overs]


5-8 minutes: Innings break

5. Scoop / Sri Lankan Bats are allowed to use.

6. The top 4 teams will advance to the playoff round in each group.

7. All games in the competition will be 20 overs a side (including Quarter Final, Semis, and
all Finals) if both captains agree can reduce over.

8. Powerplay is 6 overs ,5 bowlers can bowl a maximum of 4 OVERS each since its T20
Game.

9. There will be a Four Prizes for the qualifying team

10. Teams captain must send photo to captains’ group with minimum 7 players and report
to duty umpire once they reach the ground on time/end of the match if they have any
disagreement or inputs

11. In case of a drawn game, there will be a SUPER-OVER to determine the winner. There
is no super for league matches, Super over will follow by only knockouts

12. WHAT IF THERE IS A TIE IN THE POINTS TABLE? Then we will use NRR (net run rate)

13 LEG BYES are allowed & calculated as run.

14. 16 Teams / 2 Group for this league, 35 players max per team.

Umpire Have rights to claim the bowl chucking his own end without batter claim and given
as NO BALL.

15. Umpire duty to share along with other teams as per schedule (to obey Umpire decision,
no argument allowed Captain responsibility for all the issues at matches)

16. One demerit point to be given If any team fail to assign an umpire and that team will
be disqualified and eliminated from STCL NEXT Tournament

17.Hard Tennis ball (VICKY ONLY ALLOWED)

18. All the rules followed by ICC cricket rules except LBW

19. Wide ball, No ball, dead ball Should be REBALL

20. Teams Not allowed to play any other ground

21.If the match cancelled by Rain / weather condition points to be shared 1 point to each
team. There is No rematch

22.If any team given walk over 2 points given to opponent team (if any team given walk
over that team will be waiting LIST or Organizer decision will follow upcoming STCL)

23. If ball broken, runs & Wicket are calculated

24. No warning will be given for Mankad out

25. MAX 5 fielders will legside (wicket keeper and around wicket bowler will not be
calculated

26. *Organizer Committee will have rights to reschedule or redate the match at any time
any situations*

27. All No balls After Next Ball will be Free HIT ball.

28. If any team does not assign a umpire ON MATCH TIME or delay the match due to
umpire not present to ground as per timing one demerits point to given to that team

29. MAX 4 Registered Substitutes can use each Team, those players only allowed to fielding.

30. Main players should join within 10 over if the team used substitutes and bowl 1st,

31. 2nd bowling Team can use substitutes 1st 10 overs only next 10 overs main players
should play on field, if they injured or unplayable condition with umpires’ permission
team can continue the substitute fielder’s

32. Main Batters can join any time before 1st innings end. If teams not play with 10
wickets and 11 players on batting 1st, those number of players only allowed to fielding
next and team can use substitutes for those players

33. If any Team will try or played with unregistered player, and found by evidence that
team will be disqualify immediately

Umpires’ discretion [ICC RULES AND REGULATIONS WITHOUT LBW]

• Only team captains may converse with the umpires regarding issues of the match.
• Any ball down the leg side of the wicket will be a WIDE ball.
• Any ball that crosses over or away from the off-side mark will be a WIDE ball.
• Any ball that will come straight to the batsman without a bounce above the waist
will be a NO ball.
• If the ball passes or would have passed above the shoulder height of the striker
standing at the crease, umpires may call and sign a NO ball.
• One legal bouncer of legitimate height will be allowed per over, additional bouncers
of legitimate height will be considered NO balls.
• Full step out from the front line of the crease will be a NO ball. (THERE IS A FREE
HIT RULE).
• Full step out from the side line of the crease will be a NO ball.
• Leg-byes are allowed calculated as RUN
• There will be runs for Byes.
• Any ball caught after touching the boundaries will not be considered out.
• All players not participating in the current match should not be inside the boundary
lines.
• The Leg-Umpire must make a decision on chucked ball by the bowler. Chucked ball
will be a no-ball. Umpire may suspend the bowler if chucking)

TEAM SHOULD FOLLOW THE TABLE TIMING EVEN PREVIOUS MATCH


DELAYED TO END, IF TEAMS ARE NOT FOLLOW ABOVE TABLE TIMING,
THOSE MATCH WILL BE CANCEL AND ZERO POINT FOR BOTH TEAMS.
EVIDENCE WILL TAKE FROM CRICLUB APP AND 1ST BALL TIMING.

IF ANY ONE TEAMS COMES DELAY MEANS BY MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING


BOTH TEAM SHOULD FOLLOW TABLE TIMING WITHOUT ARGUMENT TO
UMPIRES
