REPLACEMENT TIME LIMITS

1. General
A. The life-limited components that follow must be replaced at the specified time. It is recommended that the components be
scheduled for replacement during the airplane's inspection interval that aligns with, or occurs just before, the specified time
limit is expired. Procedures to replace the components are given in the applicable chapters in this maintenance manual.
NOTE: The landing gear assemblies include the components that follow, which have given life limits. The
airplane effectivities of the landing gear assemblies and their components are as the airplane was
made. Any components that were replaced during normal maintenance or by a service bulletin are not
given. Examine the individual airplane records for the part numbers of the replacement parts. If you can
not find the part numbers of the individual components currently installed, you must use the lowest
replacement life of the like component.
2. Replacement Schedule
A. Air Conditioning (Chapter 21)
(1) Vapor Cycle Cooling System Compressor Drive Motor Brushes (Compressor Motors 1134104-1, -5 or
FWA1134104-1, -5) - Replace every 500 compressor hours.
NOTE: Refer to the Enviro Systems Inc. Operating, Servicing and Component Maintenance Manual
21-00-24.
B. Landing Gear (Chapter 32).
(1) Brake assembly Goodrich Part Number 2-1528-6 with stator disks Part Number 133-893-2, that are impression
stamped "-" OR "A". - Replace every 749 landings.
(2) Nose Landing Gear (Airplanes -0002 thru -0626 except Airplanes -0491 and -0492)
NOTE: The attaching hardware (bolts, bearings, bushings, and axle components associated with the
installation of the components below) is to be replaced whenever the associated component
is replaced. Refer to Chapter 32, Nose Landing Gear and Doors - Removal/Installation, for
more information.
(a) Nose Landing Gear Assembly (Part Number 5542000-9, -205) and the attaching hardware - Replace every
22,500 landings except for the following items:
1 Fork (Part Number 5542300-1, -3) - Replace every 12,500 landings.
2 Piston Weld Assembly (Part Number 5542105-2, -3; 6642100-4, -5) - Replace every 12,500 landings.
(b) Actuator (Part Number 9912063-11, -13) - Replace every 32,600 landings.
(c) Actuator (Part Number 9912120-1, -2, -3, -4) - Replace every 23,900 landings.
(3) Nose Landing Gear (Airplanes -0491 and -0492)
NOTE: The attaching hardware (bolts, bearings, bushings, and axle components associated with the
installation of the components below) is to be replaced whenever the associated component
is replaced. Refer to Chapter 32, Nose Landing Gear and Doors - Removal/Installation, for
more information.
(a) Nose Landing Gear Assembly (Part Number 5542000-9, -205) and the attaching hardware - Replace every
15,500 landings except for the following items:
1 Fork (Part Number 5542300-1, -3) - Replace every 8600 landings.
2 Piston Weld Assembly (Part Number 5542105-3; 6642100-4, -5) - Replace every 8600 landings.
(b) Actuator (Part Number 9912063-11, -13) - Replace every 21,200 landings.
(c) Actuator (Part Number 9912120-1, -2, -3, -4) - Replace every 16,400 landings.
(4) Nose Landing Gear (Airplanes -0627 thru -0800)
NOTE: The attaching hardware (bolts, bearings, bushings, and axle components associated with the
installation of the components below) is to be replaced whenever the associated component
is replaced. Refer to Chapter 32, Nose Landing Gear and Doors - Removal/Installation, for
more information.
(a) Nose Landing Gear Assembly (Part Number 6642000-5, -11, -15, -19, -24, -27, -29, -35, -45, -49, -53, -55, -63,
-64, -66 and Attaching Hardware - Replace every 23,900 landings except for the following items:

(b) Actuator (Part Number 9912063-11, -13) - Replace every 36,600 landings.
NOTE: SB550-32-54 incorporates 9912120-4 as replacement in units -0727 thru -0733
(c) Actuator (Part Number 9912120-1, -2, -3, -4) - Replace every 23,900 landings.
(5) Main Landing Gear (Airplanes -0002 thru -0626 except Airplanes -0491 and -0492)
NOTE: The attaching hardware (bolts, bearings, bushings, trunnion pins, and trunnion/link pin
associated with the installation of the components below) is to be replaced whenever the
associated component is replaced. Refer to Chapter 32, Main Gear and Doors -
Removal/Installation, for more information.
(a) Left Main Landing Gear Assembly and the attaching hardware (Part Number 6541000-3, -11, -27, -33, -37) -
Replace every 28,600 landings except for the following items:
1 Outer Cylinder (Part Number 5541109-1, -5 or 5541320-203) - Replace every 16,100 landings.
2 Torque Link Assembly, Lower (Part Number 5541304-11) - Replace every 41,600 landings.
(b) Right Main Landing Gear Assembly and the attaching hardware (Part Number 6541000-4, -12, -28, -34, -38) -
Replace every 28,600 landings except for the following items:
1 Outer Cylinder (Part Number 5541109-2, -6 or 5541320-202) - Replace every 16,100 landings.
2 Torque Link Assembly, Lower (Part Number 5541304-6) - Replace every 41,600 landings.
(c) Left Actuator Assembly (Part Number 9912053-13, -17, -19) - Replace every 37,500 landings.
(d) Right Actuator Assembly (Part Number 9912053-14, -18, -20) - Replace every 37,500 landings.
(6) Main Landing Gear (Airplanes -0491 and -0492)
NOTE: The attaching hardware (bolts, bearings, bushings, trunnion pins, and trunnion/link pin
associated with the installation of the components below) is to be replaced whenever the
associated component is replaced. Refer to Chapter 32, Main Gear and Doors -
Removal/Installation, for more information.
(a) Left Main Landing Gear Assembly (Part Number 6541000-37) and the attaching hardware - Replace every
16,800 landings except for the following items:
1 Torque Link Assembly, Lower (Part Number 5541304-11) - Replace every 24,500 landings.
(b) Right Main Landing Gear Assembly (Part Number 6541000-38) and the attaching hardware - Replace every
16,800 landings except for the following items:
1 Torque Link Assembly, Lower (Part Number 5541304-6) - Replace every 24,500 landings.
(c) Left Actuator Assembly (Part Number 9912053-13, -17, -19) - Replace every 22,000 landings.
(d) Right Actuator Assembly (Part Number 9912053-14, -18, -20) - Replace every 22,000 landings.
(7) Main Landing Gear (Airplanes -0627 thru -0800)
NOTE: The attaching hardware (bolts, bearings, bushings, trunnion pins, and trunnion/link pin
associated with the installation of the components below) is to be replaced whenever the
associated component is replaced. Refer to Chapter 32, Main Gear and Doors -
Removal/Installation, for more information.
(a) Left Main Landing Gear Assembly (Part Number 6541001-3, -7, -13, -21) and the attaching hardware - Replace
every 25,800 landings except for the following items:
1 Torque Link Bolt (Part Number 5541220-2) - Replace every 21,500 landings.
(b) Right Main Landing Gear Assembly (Part Number 6541001-4, -8, -14, -22) and the attaching hardware -
Replace every 25,800 landings except for the following items:
1 Torque Link Bolt (Part Number 5541220-2) - Replace every 21,500 landings.
(c) Left Actuator Assembly (Part Number 9912053-21, -23) - Replace every 41,500 landings.
(d) Right Actuator Assembly (Part Number 9912053-22, -24) - Replace every 41,500 landings.
