Long Dog Crochet Pattern

Enjoy making your very long dog
Materials
●​ Weight 4 yarn in yellow, black,
and white
●​ 3.5mm crochet hook The yarn type/color and
●​ Stitch marker hook size is what I used,
●​ Toy stuffing you’re free to change these
●​ Tapestry needle however you like! Just keep
●​ Scissors in mind that the size of
your plush may change.

Abbreviations
st(s) - stitches
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
slst - slip stitch
BLO - back loop only
FO - fasten off
[...]# - what’s in brackets times the number outside
Underlined - new color (see colors by the name of body part)

Notes Difficulty
This pattern works in continuous rounds. Easy
You can customize how long you want the body :)
Feel free to add more rounds to your liking!!

-You can make the body length shorter or as long as
you'd like! Whether you’re making a wrist rest, neck
pillow, or even just a buddy to snuggle with, you can
adjust the size to your liking.-
Stuff and continue stuffing as you go.

Don't stuff, close, and leave a long tail.

Tail (yellow)
1. Chain 6, slst into 2nd ch from hook, sc, 3hdc

Arms and Legs (yellow) x4

3-6. sc around (9) (4 rounds)
Now you will be working back and forth, not in full
rounds .
7. Slst, turn but don’t chain, 5sc, slst.
Cut a long tail for sewing

Eyes (white, black) x2
Starting in white.
1. 8sc in mc (6)
2. Slst and change to black, BLO 5slst, Fo and thread
yarn through the back loop of the next stitch. Leave
a long tail for sewing.

Assembly
Sew the nose to rounds 1-5 (see photo 1).
Sew the ears to rounds 8-10 (see photo 1).
Sew the eyes between rounds 3-6. I used sewing pins to make sure they were in place as
I liked. Embroider black nose (see photo 2).

Sew the tail onto the butt, as shown in photos 3 and 4.

Sew on arms between rounds 8-10, and the legs that many stitches counting backwards
(see photo 5).
Lastly sew an X right under the tail (photo 6)
