Inyong tubag:
        At the end of the program, we are expected to:
          a. Enhance learners’ reading and comprehension skills;
          b.    Promote strong bonds of cooperation, volunteerism, and
               teamwork through a partnership with different stakeholders;
               and
          c. Come up with a culminating activity displaying learners’
               output such as verse choir, interpretative reading, and others.
   I.     Rationale:
               The focus of this reading program is on struggling readers.
   These students must catch up on this significant learning skills. Even
   though a reading project was used in distant learning, its impact on
   students' growth was different from that of in-person instruction. The
   reading program's on face-to-face application would have a significant
   impact on the students' ability to read. Without proper comprehension
   skills, students lack the ability to understand what they read. The point
   of reading isn't to make sounds in your brain or out loud, but rather, to
   understand important lessons, stories and arguments.
               Reading is always part of every activity inside the classroom
   or school. One of the most effective methods to develop reading and
   comprehension skills is using stories which are considered as a unique
   literary genre which can be used by the teacher in developing reading
   and comprehension skills. Theoretically, using stories in order to
   develop reading comprehension skills will make the students exchange
   their ideas in the classroom discussion and make a connection
   between the text and the text from outside the school.

                    In order to meet the learners' educational needs, the KIS then
       continued the reading intervention. To give these students additional
       instructional time so they can improve their literacy level and be
       successful in school and beyond. Furthermore, this reading program
       enables the development of parent-teacher relationships, which is
       crucial for forming a partnership between the school and the
       community.
