Health Is Wealth

Health is like our driving force. We have to have that factor in

our life to enjoy any moment in our life. We might as well say it is
as important as money. Some people think money is the key to
happiness, but if you don't have the strength to enjoy that money, it
might as well be useless. Hence, at the end of the day, health is our
most important wealth.

Healthy food doesn't always have to be tasteless. There are so

many tasty, healthy food options, especially in our Indian cuisine. A
healthy meal should always be balanced. It should consist of the
nutrients required by the body. Avoid fast food as much as possible
for fast food contains bad unwanted fat that is not required by the
body. Eating fast food too often is also a major reason for obesity. I
know fast food is affordable and not time consuming, but try to
have a nice home cooked meal once in a while as it is healthy,
delicious and fills your stomach and heart. Our parents and
grandparents are so healthy even at their age because they ate
fresh and pesticide free vegetables, fruits etc. They advise us to eat
healthy food but we always disagree. Exercising also plays a huge
part in maintaining our health. It stimulates our body and keeps us
fit and healthy. Even going for a walk will help you maintain your
body. But, you see, our surroundings also affect our health. You
might have heard about global warming. It is the greenhouse effect
which is increasing our earth’s temperature. This is actually
required by the earth, but the heat retained by the car and factory
fumes is making the earth too hot and forming holes on the ozone
layer, which is making the earth unlivable. This change affects our
health so much. This also makes other organisms suffer because
of our mistakes. So to prevent this, prefer going by public
transports and prevent pollution. Refuse, reuse and recycle is a
great solution. Then there's the use of drugs and other addictive
substances. It is very popular nowadays, especially in the younger
generation. It's addictive, bad for your health and it kills millions of
lives every year. It kills even innocent lives. For example, drinking
and driving. It is a huge problem as it kills not only the driver but
also the innocent victim. So never ever do drugs or any kind of
addictive substances as it can and will kill you eventually. So, your
environment, the choices you make, your diet etc all affect your
health.

Being healthy can also be fun. We can try a variety of food,

recognize what our body needs and much more. A balanced diet,
exercising daily, and avoiding junk food is a good start to be
healthy and balanced. Preventing pollution and contributing to
society is a great way to help other organisms and prevent health
problems yourself. Saying no to drugs is like avoiding a big health
hazard. So you see, being healthy is paying attention to the small
details in your life. It can make you happy and fulfilled. Therefore
we can say, health is our true wealth.
