Lesson Procedure:
1. Introduction (10 minutes):
- Begin by asking students what they understand by the word "gadget."
- Show pictures of various gadgets and ask students to name them.
- Discuss how these gadgets are part of their daily lives.
2. Explanation (15 minutes):
- Define gadgets as small tools or devices that have specific functions.
- Discuss common gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, computers, smartwatches,
and headphones.
- Talk about how gadgets help us in communication, learning, entertainment, and
daily tasks.
3. Group Activity (10 minutes):
- Divide students into small groups.
- Give each group a picture of a gadget.
- Ask them to discuss how that gadget is useful and if there are any
disadvantages.
4. Discussion (5 minutes):
- Each group shares their ideas with the class.
- Highlight key points about the benefits (e.g., faster communication, access to
information) and drawbacks (e.g., overuse leading to less physical activity, eye
strain).
5. Conclusion (5 minutes):
- Recap the main points discussed in the lesson.
- Encourage students to use gadgets wisely and balance screen time with physical
activities.
