INDIAN EVIDENCE ACT, 1872
I, Mr. Hemachandra, S/o late Venkatappa, aged about 29 years, residing at #517, 8th
Cross, Pragathipura, Banshankari, Bengaluru 560 070, do hereby solemnly affirm
on oath as follows:
1. I state that, I am the Complaint in the above matter and I am conversant with
the facts of the above case and hence competent to swear to this affidavit.
2. I state that, I have obtained the Postal Tracking details from the India Post
website and from my official computer and printer connected to my computer
and accessible to me. My device/computer name is Lenovo Think Centre
M92, 3208-1A8 and device identification/serial number is PGV3225 and the
Printer is Canon model No. iR-ADV-4035.
3. I state that this is a Certificate in accordance with the requirements of Section
65 B of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
4. I state that above stated computer/device being used by me and is used
regularly to store official emails. The said computer/device is under my
lawful control and possession and I have been making use of the same during
the time the emails were received and was printed.
5. I state that, the computer, printer have been operating properly in all respects.
6. The operation and maintenance of the computer & printer are carried out at
regular intervals and there is no event which has occurred which would affect
the accuracy of the above documents produced in this case to the best of my
knowledge, information and belief. The said documents mentioned above
being electronic records do not require any signature and / or authentication.
7. I state that what are stated above are true and correct to the best of my
knowledge, information and belief.
WHEREFORE, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court be pleased
to take the present Certificate under Section 65 (B) (4) of the Indian Evidence Act,
1872 on record and mark the above documents, in the interest of justice and
equity.
