PART I – BACKGROUND INFORMATION

A. Rationale of the Program/Activity


The Happy Hearts: Gift Giving Project is designed to bring joy and
inclusivity to less fortunate students at Banca-Banca Integrated National
High School during the year-end party. By providing thoughtful gifts, the
project aims to ensure that every student feels valued and included in the
festive celebrations. This initiative fosters a strong sense of community and
solidarity, as it involves the collaborative efforts of students, teachers,
staff, LGU members, alumni, and SPTA members. Additionally, the project
raises awareness about the importance of supporting those in need and
promotes a culture of generosity and compassion within the school.
Ultimately, the Happy Hearts project not only brightens the lives of the
recipients but also strengthens the bonds within the entire school
community.

B. Objectives of the Activity:

1. Spread Joy and Kindness: To bring happiness and a sense of


inclusion to less fortunate students at BBINHS by providing them
with thoughtful gifts during the year-end party.
2. Foster Community Spirit: To strengthen the bonds within the
school community by encouraging students, teachers, and staff
to participate in the act of giving, promoting a culture of
generosity and compassion.
3. Raise Awareness: To increase awareness about the importance
of supporting and uplifting less fortunate members of the school
community, inspiring ongoing acts of kindness and solidarity.
C. Expected Outcome and Results

The Happy Hearts: Gift Giving Project aims to bring joy and
inclusivity to less fortunate students at BBINHS during the year-
end party. Through the coordinated efforts of students, teachers,
staff, LGU, alumni, and SPTA members, gifts will be collected,
organized, and thoughtfully wrapped. These gifts will be
distributed during a special segment of the year-end celebration,
creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The project is expected
to strengthen community bonds, raise awareness about the
importance of supporting less fortunate students, and foster a
culture of generosity and compassion. Ultimately, the Happy
Hearts project will ensure that all students feel valued and
included in the festive celebrations.

members of the Banca-Banca Integrated National High School (BBINHS)
community, encompassing students, teachers, and staff. Additionally, the
project involves the Local Government Unit (LGU), alumni, and the School
Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), who contribute their support and
resources. Selected recipients of the gifts are less fortunate students within
the school, identified to ensure they feel valued and included in the festive
celebrations. This diverse group of participants works collaboratively to
bring joy and foster a spirit of generosity and compassion within the school
community.

PART II – HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY

A. Preliminary Activities
1. Coordination with School Administration and Stakeholders:
Collaborate with school authorities and relevant stakeholders to obtain
necessary approvals and support for the Gift-Giving Extravaganza
project. Ensure all activities are aligned with school policies and
community needs.
2. Promotion and Community Engagement: Promote the project and
encourage participation through word-of-mouth, school
announcements, and social media to involve the entire school
community, the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), and the
Local Government Unit (LGU). Highlight the importance of the initiative
and the positive impact it will have on fostering generosity and
community spirit among students.
3. Collaborative Efforts: Foster collaboration among SSLG officers,
teachers, staff, SPTA, and LGU to organize and implement the project.
Guide students in collecting and wrapping gifts, and coordinate efforts
to distribute these gifts to the intended recipients. Ensure that all
participants are actively involved and that their contributions are
recognized.

Organizing a Gift-Giving Extravaganza offers numerous key learnings. It
