PLEAT TOTE

This fun summer crochet tote is an exploration of dynamic origami

featuring a classic granny square technique combined with unique

properties of raffia yarn. Designed construction has been created for

smooth shaping and intuitive assembly. Transform the finished fabric into

a sturdy stylish accessory in either of the provided 4 sizes. This tote

can be easily folded for storing and travel to suit any occasion from

beach going or the night out!

Raffia Reinforcement

You can choose to reinforce your tote using school glue


and water solution if desired. Dilute 1 part glue to 2 parts
of water in a spray bottle. Shake it well. Apply to top
triangle of the tote on the inside and the outside (or the
entire tote if desired), rub the solution in slightly. Let dry
completely. The solution dries clear, leaving fabric stiff.
Over time this process can be repeated if desired.

Once all seaming is completed, fold the tote and steam


all the seams and edges again. Let dry completely. Attach
handles. Enjoy your new tote!
