Reason why apple is a good corporate
company
Apple Incorporated has been in the technology competition since April 1st 1976 by Steve Jobs.
For 48 years Apple has been a leading technology industry and a staple in the Phone business as well. I
think everyone on earth has heard of Apple before, shows how dominant the company has been and
relevant it has been for almost 5 decades. This year Apple has come 8th out of 100 companies in the
canada corporate knights ranking. When you break down their ethics and social responsibilities it
becomes no surprise on why they came 8th. To start, taking a look at their economic responsibilities they
have no competition when it comes to this. They have been investing in the U.S economy, putting in 430
billion dollars over the next 5 years. Spending directly with American suppliers and investing in data
centers. When it comes to their stocks as well, no surprise at the end of September 2024 the company
posted quarterly revenue of $94.9 billion, being up 6 percent this year.and quarterly diluted earnings per
share of $0.97.Next there legal responsibilities, they follow all US government laws they have a whole
pdf document on there websites about following sanctions laws and how all employees are responsible to
follow them and able to report them. Ethical responsibility Apple has been doing a great job, they have
supported local communities with grants and have sponsored and donated millions to environmental
justices each year. Also, Apple employees volunteer their time to support organizations and communities.
For example, an Apple Store team member volunteered to read audiobooks to children at Ronald
McDonald House in Washington. Finally looking at the Leadership responsibilities apple has, before
every launch apple has influencers and various technology specialists come and take feedback about their
new products.
