DRAWING
Drawing is the act of representing an object or scenery or outlining a figure, sketch or plan by
means of lines. It is creating images by making marks on a surface, usually paper, with tools
like pencil, pens, crayons, etc. Drawing is a form of visual art.
TYPES OF DRAWING
Still life drawing: Still life drawings are drawings whose subjects are inanimate objects that
never move. Examples of inanimate objects: book, spoon, cup, bowl, jug.
Nature drawing: Nature drawings are drawings whose subjects are things that occur in the
natural environment. These things are not man made. Examples of natural objects: Flower,
tree, fish,
Figure drawing: This is the drawing of human beings. It is also called life drawing. It can be in
full pise, that is from the head to the toes, or portrait, that is, head to should
Imaginative drawing: This refers to drawing from memory, that is drawing without looking at
composed objects. It can also be composition of events like festival.
Landscape: This is draqwing of a partivular area. It includes trees, land, houses, roads, etc.
Cityscape: Shows city with buildings and human activites

Techniques
